week 20

Week 20 - What a week! We learned yesterday that Sterling made the honour roll!!Ya Sterling. We are so proud of him. He has worked so hard and has done amazingly well. He was so proud he called all the important people in his life last night to let them know of his accomplishment.
Kaedo is still trying out for rep and as of tonight he hasn't been cut from the team, so we are still rooting for him. This is something he really wants and so we hope it happens for him. And, last but not least, Jessica and the girlies are coming to visit. I am so excited. I have already booked some time off and Sterling has already agreed to babysit so Jessica and I can spend a morning getting pedicures. Hurray!

The blog is currently under construction as you can tell by the terrible shape it is in. We hope to have something done with it over the weekend. Stay tuned.

Good luck Kaeden with the rep tryouts - you're doing GREAT!! Hang in there and kick some butt!

How wonderful that Jessica and the girls are coming out to see you again. Have a GREAT TIME TOGETHER which I'm sure you will. They are probably just as excited as you are to be coming for a visit.

Good luck with construction with the blog - we really aren't fussy how the blog looks, we just love that you take time to let us know how everyone is doing.

It is a gorgeous morning here - blue sky, sun shining and -3 - almost like summer!! I was talking to my friend in Chilliwack yesterday and we both were at the same temperatures - just that they don't have the piles and piles of snow. Stan's off to another massage this morning and I'm getting ready to head out for our mom/sister day. Two Bronco hockey games for the weekend - Saturday is Roughrider hockey night and Sunday we are getting to sit in the Innovation Credit Union boxes that Sheila got.

Have a great day - love you lots - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Keep up the great work on the rep tryouts Kaedo. You'd be a great asset to any team.

Dave and Dayle arrived yesterday and are a short distance from us. We already had plans to go four wheeling and for supper with Ted and Cheryl so we'll see them tomorrow. Had a great day! It's too bad all the great hikes are only accessible by quad or 4WD. We hiked and climbed to the Arches which was just stunning. We broughy out chairs and had a picnic lunch then went to a large open pit gold mine. We hiked the trail there reading the comments about what was going on. We then went out to the dunes and watched the dune buggies and their drivers having a wonderful time. The dunes are huge and cover a huge area. We got back in time for "early bird" supper at the Texas Roadhouse. Great food and it was packed, even at 5.45. We left about 7 and there was even a longer wait. Glad we got there early.

Another great weather day, not too warm, around 23C with a slight breeze, perfect.

Love to all
