Date Night

Last Saturday night I wasn't working as I had no voice and so Craig and I took advantage of the situation and decided we would like to go out for dinner. We had never done this before. We have on occasion gone out in the middle of the afternoon but never at night. The boys thought this was totally cool and spent the evening eating pizza and playing video games. We headed out to a neighborhood Thai Food restaurant and had a terrific time just being together. We ended up at Starbucks and got a fancy drink for dessert and were home early enough that the boys wondered why were home already.
It's great having a husband who is your best friend. Love it.

Yes it is. I bouldered with my best friend today and two other good friends. It was brutal, no other word for it. We vertically bouldered 1690ft. in 1-1/4 miles. We saw loads of wreckage from the
B17 that crashed in 1944 in the fog. It's hard to imagine a foggy day here in Arizona. We went to the four crosses then stopped for lunch and like fools do, decided the top was there so we better go for it. The panoramic view was just incredible but we were so high and so vertical that looking down made me feel sick. Cheryl and I slid down on our butts from the top to the fourth cross and then bouldered the rest of the way down. It took 6 hours return and we were pretty sore after it was done, however after snacks, a glass of wine and a change of clothes we went for the best Asian food that we've ever eaten. Super Bowl party tomorrow at the Q from 3-9 pm. $10. buffet and $3. drinks. Hope there will be a lot of Green Bay fans so that we aren't too outnumbered. We're going with friends that I don't think have ever seen a football game so it should be a ball as they are great party hamsters. Must do laundry tomorrow as it's been 10 days and the dirty clothes are overtaking us....however, there's always Monday if it doesn't get done, but we're going to give it our best shot. Beautiful sunset tonight because of the sand in the atmosphere. Perfect climbing temperature today also.

Love to all
