week 12

Week 12! Oh My! Was a little late in getting the photo this week as Kaedo has been home sick for two days and it's been really cold out. I didn't want him outside yesterday to get the picture. This morning everyone was feeling good so we got the picture before school.

The boys are anxiously awaiting Christmas and the advent calendar is slowly showing more opened boxes than closed ones. We are awaiting the arrival of the gang and the boys are so excited to have everyone here. I can't believe Christmas is next week already. This year sure has flown by.

So glad to hear Kaeden's feeling better and once again - great photo of the boys!!

It is hard to believe - only 9 more sleeps till we get our hugs! We're hoping that all that snow that got dumped on Toronto and flight cancellations will all be cleared away by the time we come. We had freezing rain here last night and it is pretty icy on sidewalks and streets. I'm having mom and the girls in for our Christmas coffee party in about 20 minutes.

Hope you're all having a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!!

Love the photo, glad you're feeling better Kaeden. Your cousins haven't been too well either. I guess it's that time of year.

Work day today, laundry, groceries, wash the motor home. We've still got northern dirt on it and we're allowed to wash it in this park so we'll take advantage of it. The person who does them around here is too busy so we can't even hire anyone and we don't want to wait until the 21st. If we find someone in Chula Vista we'll get it waxed, that's the hardest job.

Leave here tomorrow for Malibu. Was hoping to stay at Charlie's but he's in rehab. Made a reservation at a place on the beach but haven't heard back yet as to whether or not they have space. If not, we'll find somewhere when we get there.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is next week. We still have some Xmas shopping to do and we're leaving all the Christmas food shopping until next week. Love all the fresh food here in California. People really are more food conscious than many other places we've been. Fresh food markets everywhere. Lots of competition in the grocery business here so the prices are amazingly good, except tomatoes.

Love to all
