Feels like Saturday

Craig is home with the boys today and it has been a 2 + 1 day today. Last night Kaedo went to his friend's house for supper and first thing this morning they were back together. Craig took them bowling as the boys were bowling off (giving me the opportunity to sleep in tomorrow morning - ya me!) and J wanted to tag along. When I spoke with Sterling at lunch they were hanging out and Craig was making lunch. I think the plan was for them to stay at our place for the afternoon then Kaedo and J were heading back to his house for an evening of mini-sticks. Sterling was busy texting his buddy back and forth and I haven't heard if they were planning to get together.
Happy to finish at 6:15pm tonight and spend some time at home. Tomorrow back to my regular 2-10pm (yuck) shift. Sunday I am off and am looking forward to pending the day with the boys and Craig. I might even have to cook an Easter dinner. Kaedo wants steak. Does that qualify????
Hope you are having a great Easter break whatever you are doing. Plan to do a little Easter photo shoot with the boys on Sunday so keep posted for those pics.

Also - would like your opinion - would you ever take the maiden voyage of a cruise ship? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Happy Friday,
S

Just make sure there aren't any icebergs! Having crossed the ocean three times as a child, once with many icebergs out there, I'm not the one to comment.

I had written lots yesterday but the blog buster wouldn't publish so I'm trying to keep this under 5000 words.

Look forward to seeing you in July also Stan and Shirley. We came home through Coutts this year so we were too far away from you to stop for coffee.

The weather is definitely co-operating although I'm the one in the ski jacket while everyone else is in shorts. We are busy planning our summer sojourn with the boys and also our fall/winter sojourn south. It's always exhilerating to have something exciting to look forward too.

Jessica. Emma and Avery showed up yesterday...surprise. It was great seeing them. They came for an hour and stayed for 4, it was awesome. Visited mom today, she doesn't have her power chair anymore and she seems much calmer. She can't run over people and furniture anymore so I think this is a plus and probably is a relief for her also.. although she'd never admit it. She looks great and plans to live to 100.

Hope everyone has a great Easter. Yes Shannon, steak does constitute a meal whether it be Easter or Christmasor anything inbetween. We don't need to do the traditional to celebrate and have a wonderful time. We must all make our own traditions.

Love to all

I'd take any cruise in a heartbeat...but think of how clean everything will be! The cleanliness of a ship scares me more than motion sickness, icebergs, sharks, etc...

Hope you guys have a great weekend!
