and so it begins

Monday again - where did the weekend go?
We had a busy bowling weekend with regular league on Saturday and then a tournament in Cobourg on Sunday. Sterling did really well at both, by far beating his average at the tournament. Saturday afternoon the boys spent with the Backyardigans and Sunday was homework, rooms and putting away laundry. We rented Wild Wild West with Kevin Kline and Will Smith, for Saturday night. It was great. The boys loved it. Craig went out to see a UFC fight and said he enjoyed himself.
Took the van in today for the repairs and got a rental. I am now driving a Dodge Charger. Very nice car. TJ - one of Craig's football friends, owns the shop and so he will let Craig know when to expect it. Hopefully for the end of the week.
Tennis tonight and homework. Tomorrow is the last game for basketball. Yahoo. Sterling is still interested in playing again but I think he would have to choose between that and Spanish. TKD for Kaed Tues, Wed and Thursday. Spanish for Sterling on Thursday then they are on holidays for 10 days.
Well, that's it,
have a great day

Good for you Sterling, we are very proud of how well you do, not only in bowling, but in everything you attempt. Kaeden, the same goes for you and keep remembering that your brother is two years older than you almost, so you can't expect to keep up with him in everything. Just give it a few years though!!! Also remember that I have to talk loud on the phone so that I can hear what I'm saying...I'm still laughing about that one.

Went to a great show last night. There was an ice cream social at 6:30 and then "Tucker" entertained from 7-8:30. He is a very good country singer and quite hilarious. He brought this 82 year old man on stage to do some crooning music and that just blew everyone away. What a voice!! Usually at that age, the voice is gone along with most other things. It cost $1.00 for the ice cream and the entertainment was free. Don't know how they do it.

Went to acquasize this morning, not too bad a workout. There is another entertainer tonight so we'll be attending that.

Tomorrow is line dancing (Shirley, are you there), weight watchers, acqasize and bridge for dummies. Those are the things I'm going to participate in, Denis is into making jewelry and woodworking. I signed us up for a golf cart tournament this morning. The passenger is the navigator and the driver is blindfolded. I told Denis he shouldn't have any problem because he never looks where he's going anyway. There are loads of pretty crazy things going on around here.

The weather is hot and windy but they say the nights are going to cool off for a couple of days (nights). Thank goodness! I'm melting, unfortunately, not enough.

We're looking forward to watching our Alberta election results. We were able to vote thanks to Jessica. She has a long way to drive today to cast our absentee ballots and we really, really appreciate it.

I hate to say, but I must, the primaries down here are really exciting. We plan our Tuesday evenings around CNN telecast, although they are so totally biased. Enough said.

Love to all
