you know

it's going to be a long day when...

you spill your tea all over your keyboard and when you grab it to set it upright you drop it all over your lap

I'm not saying that happened to me, I'm just saying it would be the beginning of a really long day

Must go -
have to change my pants

Sounds like you, the genetics come from the Lavigne side of the family.

Had fun golfing yesterday and we had enough time to get our transit plate. Good thing because they close here Monday for Cesar Chavez day. That wasn't on my list of holidays. Government offices are the same no matter where you go, totally inefficient. Six staff but only one working. Being hard of hearing I tend to talk louder than most, so then there were two working, however, what were the other four doing. I didn't get into that...dad was happy.

Excellent weather again today, but very windy. My bike ride took over an hour instead of the usual 50 minutes. The wind gusted so strong at times that it turned my front wheel even though I was holding on for dear life. Kind of like Lethbridge, but way warmer.

Bridge game tonight, see how many people are still talking to me after I've partnered with them. It's supposed to be, and everyone fakes that it is, just a fun social evening. There isn't a bridge player in the world who's not competitive and I'm just out for fun because I don't know enough about the game to be competitive. But one day......

Weight Watchers is killing me, I've had to give up the salt on my margaritas. I didn't lose anything this week and I'm sure that's what did it. That's what I believe..don't try to persuade me otherwise. I'm really enjoying the program but it is challenging in this setting, just too much going on in the food and drink department.

Dad and I play pool every day and he's still beating me in the best out of 3 or 5, however, it's only by one or two balls and he really has to play his game. Last week I won 3 out of 5 and boy was his competitive edge out the next day. He shot the lights out...and knowing your dad as you do, you know I mean that literally.

Love to all

Hope your day doesn't continue the way your morning started!

I just got home from my last Line Dancing for a week or so and so I really danced my heart out this morning. Got some wash on the go and am going to start cleaning out the fridge. Homemade (fridge) soup coming up and we'll have it when we get home to a house with no groceries. Hope to finish up with the packing this afternoon. Mom wants to take all her "girls" and their guys out for supper tonight so I don't have to worry about that meal. Everyone is able to make it so there will be 11 of us.

So nice to hear all your fun stuff you two are doing Irene. Have a safe journey back home. Looking so forward to visiting with you when we come to Medicine Hat in May.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Sucks to be you!!! I can't believe that in all our texting yesterday you left that juicy tidbit out. These are stories best shared. Read our text stream to Dana last night and the first thing out of her mouth was "I can't wait to meet your sister. We're definitely all going partying!" Hope you are in a party mood. I told her you're not very social. Hee Hee.
