hmmmm

Just got home from a great afternoon spent with friends. The boys rode their bikes, jumped on the trampoline, watched a movie and played in the park. She is such a wonderful host.
While there I was invited to a "YEAH! my divorce came through" party. Sounds like fun. Then I was told it was a sex toy party. Something like Partylite with more latex.
The only question I have is, what is the appropriate host gift for a party like this?

Having been to one of these parties myself I would have to say the appropriate host gift is anything containing alcohol. You'll be amazed how many 'multi-use' items are available. I was shown a special 'ointment' that had an extra use as a 'mosquito bite anti-itch cream'. It amazed me how many times the woman said 'you can use this on your kids when they get hurt'. It made me feel a little dirty and I wasn't even a mom yet. Enjoy!!

This is so out of my realm of knowledge. Divorced.. Boyfriend? No boyfriend?

Vibrator??

Whose your friend? Dad was wondering.

Been to a party and another I was pranked - told it was a staff party (guys included) and when I showed up I was greeted with a huge black dildo by some female staff members. No longer my real friends. As for the alcohol comment by Jessica - my experience is to bring lots for yourself as the embarrasment with be eased. Have fun - maybe bring something home for Craig if you know what i mean........

Okay Shannon - this is way too sensitive for your mother-in-law's ears!!!! Have never been to such a party, so have no ideas what to take for a host gift - sounds like Jessica and Petrica have good ideas. Have fun!

Sorry I didn't get to chat with you guys on Sunday - this working on the weekends is something that I'm VERY glad we don't do often. We started on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and ended last night at 9:15 p.m. Stew and Cyndi Tasche organize the craft show and they invited another couple and us to join them for a late supper at Boston Pizza last night so we got home around 11:15 p.m. Stan and I have aches and pains this morning - Stan's back (unloading exhibitors stuff on Friday night and loading exhibitors stuff on Sunday night) and my feet!!! - not used to standing for that long at a time. Sounds like you had a fun Saturday and hope Sunday was a relaxing day for you.

Have a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving together!

Hugs to you all!
