His View

Kaedo has loved taking pictures for what seems like forever and for the last few years he has talked about wanting his own camera. Not a point and shoot, but a true camera. Thanks to our family and their generosity, we were able to make his wish come true and buy him an excellent camera. He has spent time at school and with Craig, capturing shots that meant something to him. Here is just a selection of his beautiful work. I plan to enlarge some of these shots and make a collage of them in place of our 2011 family photos. I may be biased, but to me they are truly impressive. I wanted to show some of his best work here.

Did I mention he took all the Valentine's Day ones as well (aside for the ones he was in, of course)

WOW Kaeden - these are really great photos!! I think my favorite ones are the ones with the icicles - they are amazing! Keep up the great work.

We just got home around 4:30 from our trip to S'toon to meet Kelly, Petrica, Jacob & Caleb and brought the boys back with us for the week. Jacob & Caleb already have grampa playing mini-sticks downstairs and we've barely been in the house 15 minutes!

Hope everyone has a great long weekend! BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Great work Kaedo, you have an eye and nature sure has a way of supplying the subjects. Nice to see photos of people, but natural photos are my most favorite.

The picnic hamper is partially packed and we're out of here early tomorrow for our trip to Organ Pipe. If we don't do it tomorrow it won't get done this year as the week is sooo busy and we leave here on the 28th. There is so much going on here right now that you have to choose what you want to do the most. The beauty of it all is that the weather has warmed up considerably. 29C today and a nice fire tonight but it really cools off and in we go around 8.15 if we're home.

Out friends from the Sunshine Coast left yesterday but not before bringing us a bag of huge prawns. They shrimp in April and have a license for 700#. We were lucky enough to get some of them. Our closest neighbor here now, was married by Denis's uncle in P.A., what a small world. She was a teacher in the school where Denis's aunt was principal and knows lots of the family well. No matter where you travel, you are never far from friends and family.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Love to all
