Week 7

Late one this week but better late than never.  Disappointing week for my nephews this week as due to Mother Nature they were unable to make the trek to Dis.ney.  Happy you could still find time to go in a few weeks and I'm sure the extra anticipation will make it even better.

Another great photo of our two handsome grandsons. You two just keep getting better looking.

So sorry to the Klassen family for their disappointment. Hope wonderful things happen during your new dates to make it even better than you anticipated.

Had a great time in Calgary yesterday. Poor Susie having to put her tree up so early just to accommodate us. We had picked names so the gift exchange was fun and the dinner was awesome. Always fun when we get together which unfortunately isn't very often.

Had coffee with friends this week. Saw them 10 days ago and he was on crutches struggling after a complete hip replacement. This week he just had a cane and was walking great. He is a fine example of a person getting spare parts and having a successful recovery. As we age, it's always nice to see the success stories.

Hope everyone is keeping warm.

Love to all

HO!HO!HO! Kaeden! Great photo and an early Christmas greeting.

Very disappointing Friday BUT as of today, plans are all finalized once again for December 10 to 17th, 2012. We met with our CAA lady, Maureen, at 1:00 p.m. today and she's fixed everything for us - cancellation insurance and medical insurance changed to proper date (no extra charge) and they've booked us at the Paradise Pier in the Disneyland Park and said that CAA would pick up the extra tab - SWEET! So now we hope and pray that weather will cooperate for us in December.

Sounds like you had a fun time with family and had an early Christmas time together Denis & Irene.

We were up bright and early this morning to catch our youngest grandson at home to sing Happy 4th Birthday to him. He sounded pretty excited with his gifts he got to open early in the morning. Tomorrow morning we will be getting up early as well to catch our oldest grandsons 15th birthday! Where do the years go?

Hope everyone had a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Thanks Shannon. Hopefully things work out the next departure time. My students were quite shocked to see me sitting at my desk on Tuesday. I would dare say disappointed as they might be able to get away with a little more with the sub. Anyway, we hope to spoil the birthday boy this weekend. Happy birthday Sterling. I agree it is hard to believe that he is 15. I still remember the visits in Alberta and how little he was. Hope he has fun counting his money and eventually gets his PRIZE at the end. Tell Sterling (and mom will confirm this) that I too had my run ins with my French teacher in high school. Got kicked out of class and then caught bu mom in the cafeteria. And look how good I turned out!!!
