Church Bazaar

Saturday found the boys and I at a church bazaar at my aunt's church. We had no idea what to expect, but my aunt invited us, so off we went. We had a blast! It was so much fun and my aunt was so happy to see us there. She immediately gave the boys each $1 to do the penny table and then plied them with pop. We spent about 90 minutes there looking around, buying tickets for butterball turkeys, counting jellybeans and giggling at the items at the white elephant table.

At about 2:30pm we got a call that Kaedo had won a prize from the penny table. A $25 gift certificate. They told us to come by the church between 5:30 and 6pm. So off we went and when we got there they couldn`t find his prize.  He was pretty bummed. Hopefully it`s found this week.

Hope your prize shows up Kaeden! Sounds like a fun time.

Home from Line Dancing and our coffee, will have a quick lunch and then I'm off to Line Dancing again this afternoon at the Pioneer Lodge. Last month when we went, I had my sisters there for support and they even got up and danced a couple of dances with us. Mom was up as well and had lots of fun. My sisters can't make it today so we'll have to see if I can get mom up to dance again.

3 more sleeps to go - suitcases are "kind of packed" but I am really going to try and not take so many clothes! Wish me luck.

Hope you're all having a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

So glad you had such a good time at the bazaar. Roseline said that she was in charge of the money and I'm so sure that she was thrilled that you went. She enjoys your company. We always enjoy our visits with both Roseline and Peter.

Wow! you are a line dancer extraordinaire, Shirley. Good for you! It is really good exercise as well as being fun and helping keep the brain sharp. Many parks we go to down south have line dancing as their exercise program. It can be quite energetic.

Waiting for Denis to get home so that we can head to the hospital for his test. He`s getting our hitch and getting information on a lot we`ve been offered for our use this winter in San Felipe. We could see spending about 6 weeks or so there but it will depend on how much the Mexican vehicle insurance is. It can be quite inexpensive until you say that in case of accident the vehicle has to be repaired in the States. Something like medical insurance after you`ve had a stroke.

Lovely and sunny here today but not very warm. Hope your weather is awesome when you`re away, Stan and Shirley.

Love to all
