Sterling's Birthday Weekend

We are celebrating Sterling's birthday this weekend with some fun with friends. He has two distinctly different friends who like like very different things. So because of that, we seem to be partying over two days instead of one. Today we will be going out for dinner and seeing SKY.FALL, the new Jam.es Bond movie with C. I love these movies. Even the older ones where there wasn't as much action.

Tomorrow Sterling and N and Craig are heading to Joy.Ride for a day of BMXing, pizza, chips and to much Coca.Cola. Craig will spend the day watching videos on his phone and freezing in the god forsaken place. Note to self - remind him to take a blanket.

Kaedo and I will get the opportunity to spend the day together - whether he wants to or not. I need his help so he's being put to work.

Have a fun two days of birthday celebrations Sterling!

Hope you're doing better Shannon - good that you have a helper who will wait on you hand and foot.

It is a beautiful weekend here - it's 6:00 p.m. and still +3. I've been to a Catholic Angel Tea and a "What A Woman Wants" Trade show and poor Stan is working hard helping Jim with flooring down at Fabutan. Not sure what supper will bring but will wait till he's ready. Hope everyone else had such gorgeous weather.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Sounds like you got the best end of the birthday deal, Shannon. Joyride is a little chilly even in the warm weather.

Great talking and talking and talking with you today. Lol, my phone was too hot to hold against my ear. Glad we got the Xmas issues worked out. Tis the season.

It's been a great week. We've been invited out nearly every night this week and we still have tomorrow and Monday. I don't know if our friends are feeding us the last supper as in 'good riddance' or they'll actually miss us. Three couples we are meeting up with down south, one couple is going to Peru and the Galapagos Islands (wow what a trip, I'm green with envy)) another to Australia and one couple will stay home this year. It's been wonderful but we sure couldn't eat like this on a regular basis.

The weather is holding up great and we're hoping it continues until we get out of the snow belt. We'd like to hit some of the back country in Utah on our way south but only if the roads are bare and dry. If not we'll stay on the divided.

Someone in Lethbridge won the $48 million last week. Wasn't us unfortunately. Would love to know who though.

Love to all
