Boo Ya!

Report Card day for our first year high schooler. To say we are proud would certainly be an understatement. He just blew us away with his marks and the great comments including a very nice one from his Principal. So without further ado, Sterling's marks -

English - 83%
class average 73

French - 77%
class average 90

Learning Strategies - 87%
class average 78

Math - 93%
class average 72

He was so proud of himself and along with the Learning Skills grading (all Excellents except for French) and all the comments we are just beaming.

Not to be out done, Kaedo brought home a Test that he had in math where he got a '4'. The marks are on a 1-4 scale with 4 being an 'A'. He was so thrilled because he actually got the same percentage mark as the smartest kid in his class. So proud of him. He is really working on applying himself and he's doing great.

So, needless to say, it was an all round great day to be a student. Here's to many more marks, comments and happiness.

Way to go guys! You are doing great so far this year - keep up the good work. Sounds like your boys are keeping up to their mom & dad's report cards. Craig - do you remember dad & I showing you our report cards when you got to the Comp, saying - we don't want to see marks like these!! (and we didn't see them - yours were way higher!) Thanks for your call today Sterling - we are so happy for you and proud of the way you've worked this term. Hope the rest of your week goes well.

Sorry you didn't win the trip tonight Craig - that would have been so exciting for you and Shannon to go on a holiday together and we would have been there to help out. Better luck next time. Hope your evening was fun and you enjoyed your meal.

Got all the Christmas decorations and tree up yesterday so lights have been on last night and this evening. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Hope everyone had a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

You must both be soooo proud of your accomplishments. Sterling, your voice told the whole story. You sounded so proud and so happy with the way this term has gone. The best thing to do with that French teacher is just look ahead to the end of the year and know you won't have to put up with her anymore. It would be way better though if you could stay in French for your whole high school as it is pretty much a pre-requisite in Ontario. Maybe things will just get a lot better during the year and you will want to continue with it. Here's hoping!! Kaeden, it's wonderful to know how much you're enjoying school this year and your marks show it. High school will be awesome for you also.

Sorry about you missing out on the trip Craig. It would have been great. Mexico is awesome and hopefully you'll both get to go at another time. We've been checking out El Dorado Ranch in San Felipe on Google earth but it doesn't look like it's there, lol. San Felipe is though so I guess all is good.

Snow is still on the ground. The neighbor shoveled the sidewalk which was very kind. Denis swept the pathways etc. as the snow was light enough. Everyone is gone this morning, so the house is quiet.

Glad you got your "thousands" of decorations up Shirley. Your house looked so nice last year when we visited. It is a very pretty time of year when everything is decorated.

Love to all
