weekly gnome

I know, I know, I say it all the time but I LOVE this weeks gnome picture. They are both so beautiful and handsome and charming and wonderful. Can you believe by this picture it is already mid-December? The weather is beautiful, if a little rainy. I will take that every day over the snow. I believe we will have a brown Christmas this year but our house will be full of sounds of laughter and fun. The old and the young, playing and being together. Our first family Christmas. I can't wait.

It is hard to believe that it is mid-December the way the boys are dressed. It has been very beautiful here as well and even though I love seeing snow flakes come down on Christmas Eve, I really won't miss them. We still have snow on the ground because it just snowed on Sunday but there sure isn't much around here.

I'm sure your house is full of sounds of laughter and fun already with Jessica and the girls arriving. It is a busy household for sure.

Enjoy your first family Christmas as much as we enjoyed our first family Christmas together in 7 years last year - I LOVED IT!! and our memories of time together will be forever.

Went out to Herbert to visit mom today and take her a Christmas present from the family. As bad as her memory is, she did not want to open her gift - she wanted to wait to come in to S.C. to be with everyone - so sad, how does she remember being together at Christmas when she won't even remember that we were there this afternoon. One of the girls who works out there has been absolutely wonderful, suggested that we don't even try to bring her back to S.C. - it would be too upsetting for mom as well as us. They will keep them busy on Christmas Day out there - we sure hope so because it will be hard for all of us in town thinking of her out there and not being with us. Roberta and their family plan on going out on Christmas Eve for about an hour - weather permitting.

Hope you're all having lots of fun together - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

I love the gnome photo also but my question is... who is the old, playing and being together? We know who the young are, but we have no idea who the old are. The gnome won't be the same next week as I knocked him over yesterday while bringing in a very large case of coke and broke his pointy head. I offered to buy a new one but Denis used red wax and he's almost as good as new.

Tree decorating was very fun tonight and there's an embarrassing number of gifts under it. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and we all ate our fill. We're all tired tonight as we didn't get home until 12.50 this morning and most of us got up before 9. Avery slept until 10.30. Jessica and the girls visited GG with Denis, Shannon had two custom order hats to make, and the boys and I went to XS Cargo and Oshawa Mall.

The weather is great, much warmer than Monday and Tuesday, and the grass is still green.

Love to all

Actually, Irene said the former comment on Jessica's computer. There are five laptops on the table and I picked the wrong one.
