Sunday

Sunday found us to be very busy indeed. Sterling and Kaedo were up bright and early to head to the skate park with their buddies. They finished there and I picked them up about 12:30pm. We stopped and picked up the flowers for GG and headed home for quick showers. At 1:45pm we headed out to the Manor and spent two hours with GG celebrating her 101st birthday. Sterling had the brilliant idea to bring his computer so that GG and Baba could Skype. I was so impressed with his kindness and thoughtfulness. So they got to Skype and we enjoyed a fun afternoon.

Craig didn't join us but he had a good excuse. He was invited to the Bud Zone at the Buffalo Bills vs Washington Redskins NFL game at the Rogers Centre. His friend had four free passes and he invited Craig to join him. He had a wonderful time and got home at about 8:30pm.

All in all it was a fun day for all of us. Hope you had a happy Sunday.

PS - A special birthday wish going out to Kelly, my Brother in law. Hope you had a wonderful day on the 30th.

Birthday wishes to your gramma Shannon - WOW 101 - hard to believe one's heart keeps beating for that many years but it seems there are quite a few people reaching that 100 mark. How nice to have Sterling think to bring his computer along for Denis to visit with his mom on her special day.

Your day sounds like it was lots of fun Craig and we're glad you got to do that.

Hope you enjoyed your show last night. We went to Larry & Faye's, Hank & Jewel, next door neighbors to Hank & Jewel and Robert & Barb's around 8:30 or so and dad wore his scary mask and ended up scarying a few of them and we had lots of laughs over it. Hank & Jewel invited us over for coffee to get warmed up after and we got home around 10:00 p.m. We only ended up having 5 kids but one reason was because we didn't get home till after 6:00 from helping clean up after lunch after the funeral we were at so we probably missed all the little ones.

We have some of the "white stuff" on our ground this morning - YUK!! It won't take long to go away but don't like seeing it on Nov. 1ST.

My sisters and I are heading out to Herbert tomorrow earlier than usual. We are taking Kentucky Fried Chicken out to Herbert and having lunch with mom to celebrate her 88th b'day. We bought a big cake from Costco on Saturday and plan on serving it to some of the residents and 3 of mom's friends are coming out for cake and coffee. Hope she enjoys her day.

Well got to get going to kick my heals up! Have a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

We are so happy you thought of bringing your computer to GG's birthday celebration, Sterling. She looked wonderful.

Christmas shopping is just about finished, I think. Now it's time to sort everything and see who is short what. It's so pleasant to get it all done when the stores aren't too crowded and there's no snow on the ground.

We had no children stop by last night. I had bought a few things as I figured there wouldn't be any but just in case. The mall had a huge Hallowe'en celebration in the day and the place was full of kids and parents dressed up in their finest and all the shops were giving out candy. It was great. Emma looked lovely in her Cleopatra costume and Avery had to settle for Nemo as the Cleopatra costume ordered for her didn't fit. Their mom was a very attractive witch.

Lunch with a good friend today but not much else planned. I'm still trying to get up early enough to get to Costco for 9 a.m. so that I can get the tires rotated. They're so busy that if you get there after they open, they're booked for the day. People start lining up an hour before opening.

Love to all
