And so it begins

Soccer resumes this morning with split indoor/outdoor practices. They will practice all winter getting ready for the Spring and the start formal start of the season. This is a big commitment for all of us but Kaedo loves it and there are no 6am practices in a cold arena, so all is good.

Craig has already left for football - the last regular season game. He had to ref at 8 and play at 9:30am. I'm sure with the Fall weather there is a lot of Under Armour being worn.

Sterling is busy with his computer and hopefully will get the option to go biking this afternoon. Not too many biking days left.

I got a call on Thursday from the store that was carrying my hats asking for more as they had sold most of the original bunch. Yay. Unfortunately that sets me back a bit in my crocheting for the craft show in a few weeks. We figure if I can crochet two a day, I'll be good. In my quest to do this I have spent a lot of time talking to my mom and sister as well as watching crazy daytime tv. I'm just thrilled my hats are a hit!

Not too much else going on this weekend. We have our four free passes to the movies still, so we may go to the show tomorrow, but aside from that it's just hanging out and hookin'. haha

Have a good practice Kaedo. We know how much you love soccer and how hard you work at it.

It's been fun talking with you so much even if we're taking second place to the hats, lol. I can hear the crochet hook moving at record speed. Glad we can help you pass the time as it must be very busy trying to get a couple of hats done a day.

Cold here this morning. Got up to frozen pipes in the bathroom. The hot water pipe is ok now and the cold water should be fine in a little while. Going to get a light for that cupboard today to keep it warm in there. The pump cupboard is great as we have a light in it. This is supposed to be the coldest its going to get until the 14th and we're nice and cozy in the motorhome. I'm really surprised how warm it stays.

Wrapped presents until we ran out of tape and paper yesterday, then went out and bought a few other little things. Got the Johnny salt Shannon as you never know what is seasonal at Costco. They don't carry my medallions of salmon pasta at this time of year so I was concerned about the salt also. Got a roll of paper that will last for three years, like the last one. Never did get to the show as planned. Oh well, there's still time.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Love to all

It's a good thing Kaeden isn't playing soccer outside here today - it's SNOWING!!! Mom called Linda this morning around 9:30 a.m. to tell her that it was snowing where she was. It's even blowing quite abit - could have our first blizzard??

Sterling's had lots of fun time with his bike for a long time - a lot longer than we would have here. Hope he got out again today.

CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL YOUR HATS BEING SOLD SHANNON! We knew they would but it will make you quite busy getting ready for your Craft show with everyone wanting your beautiful hats.

Hank & Jewel are coming over shortly and Jewel and I are going to the Legion Remembrance Day Tea and the men are going to watch football. Probably have a quick supper together before the men head to the Bronco game.

Tomorrow we are going to the First United Church Fall Supper with John & Alice Wall for the 4:30 p.m. setting. John has a meeting to go to at 7:00 p.m. so we're going over to their place around 3:30 p.m. for a glass of wine and then walk to the supper from their place. It gives us a chance to wear off our supper after!

Glad to hear no pipes broke on you Irene. Keep cuddly warm - guess it's that time of year.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
