week 8

The weather is still mild although I hear we may get some snow on Thursday. I`m hoping not. Yuck. It is supposed to be nice for the weekend and the boys are counting on that as they want to spend some serious time at the skate park. I think we may be going back to our hippie family roots if these haircuts are any indication. We measured the kids on Monday night and Sterling is 5`7 and Kaedo is about 5`4. Yikes. Must stop feeding them!

It sure looks like it's nice weather there for the boys to be without their jackets - soak it all in because I'm sure pretty soon you will also have that white stuff that we have here!

Will be thinking of you this weekend and hoping you do well with everything which we're sure you will.

We just can't believe how much Sterling & Kaeden have grown - oh my gosh - we'll be the shorties in May for sure. If they take after both grampas, they are both going to be very tall. Put heavy books on their heads!

Hope you all had a great day! We were out visiting mom - it has been 3 months yesterday that we moved her out there and we think there are more positive days of late than negative so hope it continues. It was the Manors Birthday Party celebrations for the month of November today so we got in on cake and coffee but ended up going to mom's room because it was way too noisy in the main area.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Got your favorite T on....again. Gnome is looking shorter as you two grow taller. We should be placing bets on how tall you'll end up being. We're hoping over 6'3" for both of you.

No snow here anymore, sorry you still have some Shirley. We are becoming quite acclimatized. The radio said -7C for Friday and I said that wasn't too bad. Denis looked at me very strangely.

Got my first Christmas gift on Monday from a friend I had lunch with. Had dear old friends in for dinner last night. We'll miss seeing them this winter as we'll be on opposite sides of the continent. Head to the Hat tomorrow but will return Saturday.

We're still cozy warm but the -16C we're expecting on the weekend might be a challenge. Either we're adjusting or the old house is pretty well insulated ( which I doubt).

So much to do, so little time.

Love to all
