saturday already

Man - the week has flown by. An extra long weekend for the boys this week as yesterday was a PA day. We headed off to the doctor yesterday morning for our H1N1 shot. Everyone was brave. Kaedo was a little freaked out but was a real trooper and Sterling was just great. No problems. Everyone is suffering from "sore arm syndrome" now, but that is to be expected. I have two sore arms as I got my Tetanus shot on Thursday and am sporting a nice lump from that. Ah well, such is life.

The boys are downstairs playing wii, Craig is at football and I am getting ready for work. 2-10pm today. Not ideal but after losing Thursday due to my finger I am happy to have picked up this shift. I don't know what the rest of the fam will be doing but my guess would be that video games, football and some episodes of "Canada's Worst Driver" will be on the agenda.

Hope everyone makes out okay with their shots!!

We've kind of had a lazy day today and not done too much of anything. I decided to put up some Christmas decorations downstairs and was playing Christmas music to put me in the mood. Not sure when I'll do the upstairs. We kind of bought our Christmas present last night. We invested in a 42" T.V. and got it set up last night. We didn't have a stand to put it on so Stan improvised and cut up the Entertainment Centre to hold the T.V. We have Sask Tel coming on Wednesday to hook up HD so looking forward to having a big screen to watch the Grey Cup!!

We're heading out tonight to coffee with Pete & Esther so must get some supper on the go.

We're going over to Darold & Lenni's with Sam & Linda to watch the big football game tomorrow - HOPE SASKATCHEWAN WINS!! We'll be cheering loud. We'll have to give you a call on Monday night to see how your weekend went. Hope you had a good one.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Ken was very surprised that he was celebrated for an early birthday. Slick and Char showed up first and he didn't even clue in as they are good friends and "dropping by" is normal. Then other came and the food was put in the oven and the margaritas were being served. He said it was the best birthday ever. It was a very fun time, they have really nice friends.

We started heading for Calgary yesterday but the snow was so thick and the roads were getting worse by the minute so we turned around half way to Brooks and came back to the Hat. Very disappointing as I realy wanted to visit mom. Quite a few people were turning around. It was an all out blizzard on the highway but the Hat missed most of it. We just have a little snow. We grandparented last night so that Jessica and Ken could go out for dinner and then at 10:30 she had to work the Casino for two hours. Part of Emma's kindergarten fund raising.

Congrats on your new TV, Stan and Shirley. Sports sure come alive on a bigger screen. Enjoy the game today, we're looking forward to watching it also. GO TEAM GO!!

Love to all

I assume when you say football you mean CFL. Go Riders! Right now we have a pretty aggressive game of knee hockey and then we are going skating and watching the big ame as a family. Hopefully next week we will be attending the Grey Cup party at the Ceys!!! Have a great Sunday.
