Ketchup and other news

He is so cute, isn't he? He's such a good dog, and I am so thankful to Scott and Cheryl for giving him to us all those years ago. I can't believe he will be 5 this year. He is one of the most wonderful gifts we have ever received. Love him! He must be a good dog because even my mom loves him and she doesn't like any animals. He also has Em wrapped wrapped around his "paw", so he must be great!
In other news - I am working on a special book for a special woman in my life right now, and it is looking great. I need to have it ready for August, so I am working away on that. I may post some sneak peeks, but haven't decided yet. I have also been doing some freelance work for staff at the bank. Some of them have seen some of my cards so I have been asked to create some for them. I think it might turn into a nice little side job. I also got asked yesterday to create a wedding planner portfolio for one of my co-workers. A paying job. I'm looking forward to meeting with her on Monday to get some more info on what she wants done. I'm getting my stuff out there.
Getting ready for a special birthday party this weekend. Our last big party! 7 boys, sleepover. Should be fun. Kaedo is so excited. One week today and he will be 10! I can't believe it! The party starts at 4pm on Saturday and we will be kicking the kids out on Sunday at 10am. I'll post some more info tomorrow. We have lots of fun planned.

Sorry we will miss the party, but we will be up for another when we see you - can't wait! Hopefully all are feeling better soon. Our family has the sniflles only, but I think it is because of our abuse of the air conditioning!!!!

What a cute picture of Ketchup - great photographer Kaeden!! He is a cute puppy and for one that doesn't care for dogs either - Ketchup is pretty special. I remember saying many times - that would be the day that I would be picking up dog pooh and I did it quite a few times during our last visit.

Can hardly wait to see the "special" project!!

Congratulations on all the extra little jobs Shannon - we know how great your work is - you maybe a very busy lady once everyone else sees it as well.

Hope everything goes well for Kaeden's 10th b'day party - 7 boys in the house overnight should be fun!!

Talk to you Sunday to see how everything goes.

It's a cooler day today and we've had a couple of showers which is nice. Dad helped me today tidy up the house abit because we're getting company for Friday and Saturday night. It's the Millar Bible Golf Tournament this weekend and they are coming for that. Forecast doesn't sound great but we're hoping for a nice day. I will not be golfing but hope to ride along on the cart just to enjoy the day as well. This afternoon dad had to usher at a funeral at our church and then he says he will probably have to help take tables and chairs down after. Don't know when he'll be home.

I go to the doctor tomorrow morning at 9:15 a.m. to see how things are doing and hopefully he will tell me I can start putting some weight on my foot.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Hi Ketch, you really are a wonderful dog and I really do love you so very much. You always make everyone so welcome, except maybe auntie. I think you thought she was going after Emma for something and you nipped at her pant leg. Very cool, Ketch. You are a very handsome little guy.

Hey Shan, you keep up all the work for your banking buddies and the bank's going to hire you to do their advertising. So glad you are getting work that shows just how creative you really are. Who and what's your special project? Whatever it is and whoever it's for, it will be wonderful, there's no doubt about that.

I know Kaeden's party will be great if you two are planning it but I hope you enjoy it as well. It will be a blast, all those kids in the house. Emma's here for a sleepover, however, she never wants to go to bed when she's here. It's 9.30, and she's made a lazy boy chair out of the driver's seat and is just chilled out watching TV.

It was nice to sell our old motor home. It was a real chore between e-mails, phone calls and viewings. We hope the people who bought it enjoy it as much as we did. The couple who bought it were much older than us, he was 82 and she would be about 70. They don't plan to go south but just want it for summer fun.

Talk to you Sunday.

Love to all
