Kaedo is doing better today. His fever seems to have broken, which is a relief. I am still plying him with Ibuprofen and Tylenol, to ward off anything. He is also taking the SuperHero of antibiotics and his puffers, so hopefully things will turn around quickly. He is just chillaxing today.
This morning I got a call from a nurse that works for the doctor we saw yesterday and she told me that upon reviewing his xrays again, he does in fact have pneumonia. That is a real bummer. She said to keep giving him the meds and get him in to see his family doc or if he isn't getting significantly better with the antibiotics to bring him back to Urgent Care or take him to Emerg. He is seeing his family doc on Monday.
We had just been talking this morning about him maybe going to school for a while tomorrow so he could see his friends, celebrate his birthday and take part in their "park party". As of right now I don't know if he'll be up to it. He is really bummed. Not a nice way to spend your big day.
On a happy note, he will get a bunch of Lego tomorrow so that will cheer him up. So, we'll see how he feels in the morning and if he is up to it, I'll let him go for a while. Definitely not the whole day.
I've just finished making his birthday cake (chocolate sour cream - drool!) and was going to make white chocolate chip cookies (as per his request) but ran out of brown sugar, so those will have to wait.
Check back tomorrow for a big birthday post, and some very cute pictures of the birthday boy!

Glad you're doing better today Kaedo It would be so nice if you could go to school for your big day. Wow! chocolate sour cream cake, that's a favorite with out house as you know, all except Emma. She had cupcakes but no icing on hers.

Baba's gone to help Jody finish the fence at Jessica's. Ken will be home Friday for a 5 day weekend so he will design his gates and build them. It's a great looking fence, people stop and look at it. Ken doesn't like it, thinks it's too busy...what does he know, he only built it.

I'm sitting out enjoying the lovely evening, too tired to do anything more. This job will quieten down once the backlog is caught up. Peggy and I just want to work 20 hours a week each but right now it's all of 40. Hope to be caught up in a couple of weeks. Nice company to work for, nice people, I'm really enjoying it.The company has had a retirement, a cancer illness, a "i quit", all in about a week so it's pretty tough for two new people to come in and not even know what they're supposed to do let alone how to do it. I love a challenge.

Love to all
