Camouflage

We had a snowstorm on Thursday afternoon and when I came home I found this; my deer had been camouflaged. I love them so much. The momma and other baby are safely tucked up on the deck and didn't get snowed on, but these two brave souls, stood guard and took the storm like the men they are.

This family of deer is such a precious possession of mine. So much love, attention, nagging and pleading went into bringing them to life. Love them.

Now if only I could get this snow to go away. Stan has a snowblower, maybe he'd like it? Actually, shoveling it isn't too bad. We have teenagers, and that is definitely their job.

WOW, that is a lot of snow! We left SC and the lawn was showing - the further north we got, the more snow there was. PA has a lot of snow and it is a lot colder here than SC as well. It's been a fun weekend with lots going on to keep us busy. Loved helping out!
One more day of rest for your boys and second semester starts - wow, where did January go? Before we know it, Spring will be here. Have a great second semester Sterling and Kaeden!
Big Hugs to all!

Snow, really don't miss it. I think the difference between here and there is that when it's on the cool side we know it's going to warm up but when you're on the warm side you know it's going to be freezing again. Kinda like it our way around. 28C today, just in case you're interested!!!

Had an awesome adventure on Friday. We climbed gullies and found tanks and even talked to some Belgian soldiers training on the Goldwater. The Jeep came away unscathed, we think. Just about 8 hours of climbing over boulders, doing severe washboard and skidding around when the sand got too deep. We also did some of the two legged climbing, one to a mine and one to a natural water tank for the animals. Tomorrow we leave for Organ Pipe National Monument, a most wonderful place. Friends will meet us there on Thursday so that we can go from Organ Pipe to Yuma off road, about 200 km, 6-8 hours. We'll stay at their place in Yuma Thursday night and drive back via the highway on Friday. from there we'll travel into Mexico.

Not sure if we'll have any cell service or any hot spots before Friday so hope everyone has a good week.

Love to all
