Interestingly enough Craig found me mopping the floor directly under this sign. LOL
You know your kids are kick-ass awesome when they go to the drugstore to get maxi pads. And when they get to the till, they tell the clerk they have a coupon. LOL
I guess we haven't "come a long way, baby". Wasn't there supposed to be affordable robots doing these chores by the year 2015?
Good practice for you guys. It won't be the first or last time we're sure, but as you age the pad morphs from one necessary use to another. The coupon is really funny though. Such self confidence. It doesn't get any better than seeing such confident young people. Love you both so much.
Spent the afternoon with friends that just arrived from Canada after a trip from hell. Love hearing those stories as it makes you feel so lucky although we really feel so bad for them. He is such an excelent driver that when he told me the Golden Gate Bridge jumped out and hit him, I believed him. Thought that maybe there was something sticking out over the roadway from the bridge. He laughed at that and admitted he just hit it. It's taken them a month to get here due to flooding, breakdowns and anything else you can think of...but they're safe and healthy. We hosted supper last night for another couple who arrived here yesterday also. Now we're getting ready to move 40 km. south this morning but will still be in the same vicinity as so many good friends. We really are blessed.
Selma is the only Oscar nominated movie playing here right now. Hoping the others show up in the next couple of weeks before we move on.
