Shrine

Kaedo and the kids next door are always making home for bugs, building flower shrines and digging holes in our backyard. This is just an example of some of their work. They can spend hours searching for bugs, flowers, rocks and anything else they can add to their creations. Beware where you walk, however, you may fall in a hole and break your ankle.

I can remember doing things like that, it was very fun at the time. Kids and their imaginations, nothing quite like it.

Had a wonderful time with grandma yesterday. Went out for lunch and afterwards had 29 people from the residence for cake and coffee. She was thrilled. Met up with Susan and Georges around 4.30 and spent a half hour or so with them. Susan and Cheryl will take mom for supper tonight as it was such a big day for her yesterday that she wouldn't have enjoyed going out for another meal. Left Calgary around 5.30 and Jessica invited us over for supper so we got there around 8. Had a great meal and chat and got home around 10. Grandma was thrilled to hear from you Shannon.

Going for some Administrative testing this afternoon at a placement agency. They deal in a lot of temporary positions and I love trying new things so hopefully this will be successful. Haven't done any testing for years, should be fun.

Sunny but cool today. Sure hope it warms up soon.
