From the Archives

Hi Everyone -
Happy Saturday! Some pictures from the archives. These were taken in March 2003. Man what a difference 7 years make! 7 years! Gasp!
The boys had many great hours in the jeep. It was one of the best gifts they ever received and we had many fun hours watching them cruise around the neighborhood.
The boys are outside right now playing with L and having fun. Sterling has plans this afternoon to go to a friend's house and Kaedo does as well. Craig is at football and I am heading to work in a couple of hours.
Last summer we bought a pass to the Zoo and haven't been since March so we are hoping the weather is good and we can head out there tomorrow for an afternoon of animal gazing. The boys are looking forward to it and I just want to spend time with them so anything they want to do is good with me.
One last thing - thank you for all the well wishes for Sterling. I don't mean to drop it all on you but know that you want the details and this is an easy, if not public, way to get all the information to you. Thanks to you all for being so great.

Cute photos!! I remember running after them as they drove their jeep in the park close to your place.

Have a wonderful time at the Zoo tomorrow with all of you together.

We just got home awhile ago from Nathan and Pam's wedding. It was a beautiful day for them and everything went smoothly. They are heading to Medicine Hat tonight and fly to Hawaii on Monday for their honeymoon.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

I remember the Jeep so well. The boys did have a great time in it. We got Emma a Cadillac Escalade but she doesn't use it like the boys used their vehicle. She may get more pleasure out of it this summer but now that she's two wheeling her bike, it's hard to say.

Had a super weekend, Monday just comes too quickly. I know that every day is a weekend when you're retired but somehow the dynamics are different. Still looking for something to work at for the summer but I guess something will show up, at least I hope so. We've been charting our winter trip so a little extra money would be nice. The ferries from the Baja to mainland Mexico are not too cheap. We'd like to head to Mazatlan from La Paz but it's pretty pricey for a 12 hours ferry ride. We may have to settle for Los Mochis and do the Copper Canyon instead. Who knows, by then we may end up somewhere totally different, as usual. That's the worst of planning early, we never seem to do the trip that we'd planned...but we always enjoy whatever we do.

Love to all
