Bowling started this morning and the kids did great. Kaedo bowling 85, 86 and 36, qualifying for his 75 single badge. Sterling 137, 180 and 98 qualifying for his 400 triple badge. It was very exciting but is going to be very anxiety ridden for me in the coming weeks as Craig is playing football and I will be racing from one lane to the other to watch. Aak!
The weather is great here and we don't have much planned for the rest of the day. We'll see what everyone wants to do and go from there.

Congratulations on your bowling Sterling & Kaeden - you both did GREAT. Guess mom has to get out the sewing needle by the sounds of the new badges - WAY TO GO!!! Hope you made out alright with football Craig and aren't hurting too much.

Weather was beautiful here today as well. Stan took down the fence boards on the north side yesterday and we painted them all and got them all put up except for the gate boards. It looks great and the sun and wind hurried the drying process along just beautifully. All the fence we have left to do is way at the back at the west end and the back of the fence to the garage on the north side. We have to wait till the tomatoes are all done and hopefully we'll get it done before the white stuff flies.

We're waiting for the first frost before we take all the apples off the tree. When we got home on Thursday, there were so many black birds in the tree, we weren't sure if we'd have any apples left. Hopefully they didn't get them all.
We had Robert & Barb over for supper last night and I made an apple crisp from the ones that had fallen on the ground from all the wind and birds pecking at them. The apple crisp turned out very good.

After our painting job and working so hard this afternoon we decided to go out for Chinese supper at Casey's. We called Larry & Faye and asked if they would be interested in joining us. They had been away on holidays since August 20th so it was nice to get caught up on each others news. They came over for coffee and cards and just left around 11:15.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
