Biker Boyz

Today the boys rode their bikes to school. Craig is home from work because they have a workshop after school and needed to be picked up. Last night they asked if they could ride their bikes and we agreed on the condition that they phone (cell phone provided) when they get to school and call when they were leaving school.
So, off they went this morning, excited as could be that they could take their bikes, promising to call...
At 9:15am Craig called the school to see if the kids had made it. They were just doing the announcements so they couldn't interrupt their classes so the secretary said she'd call him back. At 9:30am we got a call that their teachers had not marked them absent so they must have made it. (very reassuring - not).
Needless to say - they will not be riding their bikes to school anymore. All they had to do was call.
Tough love, people. Tough love.

Glad to hear they made it to school safe and sound BUT gramma agrees - they have to follow instructions or deal with the consequences. I'm sure Craig was ready to start driving the route the boys take to school by the time the school called back. We didn't live near as far from the school and we didn't have cell phones for them to call but worried till they got home at lunch and after school. We never stop and now we have grandchildren to worry over as well! LOVE THEM TO DEATH! Hope you had a great day working from home Craig and your work evening goes well Shannon. It's been beautiful here so we've been outside all day. I just came in now to make something for supper. Dad didn't get very far with the fence Craig - NOTHING'S STRAIGHT!!! Hope the rest of the week goes better. This is only the first section!

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Uh oh! Forgot, didn't you boys. Not a good enough excuse. Give your parents a week or two and beg again. Parents forget too, they just forget that they forget. Good luck!
