at least it wasn't the roof

photo Aug 3/06

So, yesterday, my youngest adventurer decided that he would see how far and high he could jump. In his infinite wisdom he decided to climb on the Superbox (mailbox) and the end of the street and take a leap. Unfortunately, he didn't think out the landing and now he is sitting at home with ice on his ankle, wrapped in a tensor, whining that it hurts. (Batman he ain't)

There is really only one answer to a situation like this -

Suck it up, buttercup

You must be related to the Lavignes, Kaed. One of Baba's cousins jumped off the garage roof with an umbrella, figured it would break his fall. The only thing he broke was his leg. So really, you're just a normal kid. Hope it gets better for track and field on Wednesday. Keep up the coughing Sterling, guarantees no school for a long time. Your mom will be so pleased.

Love to all
