ALL HAIL # 16

Can you say PROUD? PROUD PROUD PROUD PROUD!
What a night! Sterling played his heart out! He was AMAZING! After 5 years he is still a little scared of the ball and doesn't want to get hurt (who does?). In saying that, you never would have known by his performance last night. He was in the play, and I mean ALL the time. He was taking the ball and giving just enough bump and rub to let the other team know he meant business. He was passing to his teammates and setting up plays. He even got a goal. Which is no big surprise this year as he has gotten a goal in almost every game he has played so far. I know I am biased, but I think he is a crowd favorite because the cheering really is amazing when he is into it. He is always a good player but last night he was unbelievable. I really wish you could have all been there to see it. Last night was the last regular season game and playoffs start on Sept 10. Craig and I took the pictures and the close-ups of him are from the end of the game, but posted lasted so it is kind of in reverse order. I find it very hard to put pictures on here so sorry about that. It isn't very user friendly.
On another note - Sterling has decided to give up soccer for now, and with next summer already planned (I know, that's insane) he will not have the opportunity to play for another year. It was his choice and even with his phenomenal game last night he still wants to take a break. We have some new activities lined up for him and I think he will be happy with those.
talk soon,
s

Great photos Sterling. We hope you enjoy whatever activity you choose as we know you'll do well in it. It's wonderful to try different things, that's the way we grow. You have so many choices and you're so fortunate that you have a Mom & Dad that encourage you to try everything.

Hey buddy, trying many sports mkaes you a better athlete and will be great. Soccer will always be there - good luck. Remember, Tiger's dad never forced Tiger to golf - he did it because he wanted to and started to love it and want to get better. And now you know the rest of the story!
Great pics - in fact I think now that I see Sterlng's hair a bit more it looks good - European soccer star- style. Have a good long weekend everybody.
