Terry Fox Run

Bright and early this morning my guys were in the neighboring community volunteering and participating in the Terry Fox Run. Sterling volunteered, working water tables and doing other odd jobs and Kaedo ran/walked 10km in support of the run. I am so proud of both of them. They are giving back to their community and participating in a worthwhile cause.
Sterling is spending the afternoon with his friend C, and Kaedo is lying on his bed watching a movie on his computer. He is so tired. He just wanted to chillax this afternoon.
Craig is still out biking with M and I'm just tidying up around here getting ready for my first day of full time hours. Busy week ahead so we'll see how it goes. Wish us luck!

Congratulations to you both! Sterling, we hope you enjoyed your participaction, Kaeden, we know you enjoyed yourself.

Jessica and the girls are at a string concert at the cultural centre this afternnoon. Denis is fixing the step on the motorhome and I'm watching football and browsing. We had a super time at the College Homecoming yesterday. The children's portion of it was fabulous with face painting, balloon animals and tattoos. The bouncy areas had competitive games and I was very nervous watching Avery climb a 10 ft. ladder by herself. She only asks for help the first time out and then she's good to go. Very scary!

Glad you enjoyed your golf tournament yesterday Shannon and we hope you will get the opportunity to use your gift certificate for another day out with the family.

Hope everyone had a super weekend and has a super week.

Love to all

That's wonderful that both of you participated in the Terry Fox run. When we drove home from your place that year, we stopped at the Terry Fox Memorial and it is a very touching monument. What a brave young man he was.

Hope you weren't too stiff and sore Craig from your biking and football on the weekend.

Shannon, hope your first day of full time hours went well for you today.

We had a great weekend and the weather was beautiful. Always abit windy but we're used to that. Today was also very nice out and it's 7:45 p.m. and still plus 16. It's supposed to be beautiful again tomorrow.

The week will go by very fast and before we know it - it will be Thanksgiving - holiday for some and just another day off for others! Love it!

Got a call today from Cyndi Tasche and she would like Stan & I to help at "Fall Into Christmas" again this year. We get things set up on Friday, Sept. 28th and it opens to the public on Sat. & Sun. It is a busy weekend but it's also lots of fun.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
