We're baaaackk!
After our weekend trip to Ottawa, I can honestly say I have never loved sleeping in my own bed so much. Kaedo played 6 games in 2 days in torrential downpour. Truly awful. I must admit that as of today I am sick of soccer and this is only the beginning of the season. Thank goodness we have a weekend off before the next tournament. Kaedo played very well and I was really proud of him. Pictures tonight, league game tomorrow, practice on Thursday and then a couple of days off to just hang out and be a kid. It was so rainy I didn't even get any pictures. Maybe some of the other moms with the fancy cameras will share.

Glad to hear you're home safe and sound. Way to play Kaeden!! Too bad the weather had to be so awful and hopefully neither of you get sick. We had a beautiful weekend for a change and took full advantage of it. We also had company through the weekend but they were no trouble at all. Didn't even get the toaster out for toast - just made a couple pots of coffee and enjoyed having a cup or two on our deck. Sunday we went to Church, out for lunch with Robert & Barb and then we went down to the Southside Park for Picnic in the Park sponsored by Innovation Credit Union, came home to gather more clothes and went off to the first Indians ball game with Sam & Linda. They lost but it was a nice evening to enjoy the outdoors. Went for coffee after. This morning woke up to +12 and no wind. Us Saskatchewan people almost fall over when there's no wind!! I walked to Curves and just as I was coming out, Stan had walked down and we enjoyed a walk together. Had coffee and breakfast on the deck. He's been working alot harder than me - shovelling lots of crushed rock around the yard. I got wash on the go and watered my plants. I'm just waiting for Linda, Jean and Roberta to come and pick me up and we're heading out to Herbert this afternoon. They are having a Fashion Show and mom is one of the models. Apparently she was in S.C. a couple of Fridays ago to try on outfits from Tanjay/Alia and it's funny we didn't run into her - that would have been a surprise to both her and us. Anyway, we're going out to enjoy the afternoon and hope she's okay after. Guess I'd better get myself ready - hope you had a fun day relaxing at home Shannon.

Really though, you guys deserve some bad weather, it's your turn. Sorry that it had to be this weekend though. It would have been so much more enjoyable in the sun.
All the new windows are in at Jessica's house and we're still painting. The basement suite is really coming along. We've just got the front room to do but it's a big room 13' x 15'. We have to paint the stiple ceiling as well as the walls and put all new flooring in that room as well. Kitchen cupboards went in yesterday. She's getting anxious to start on the upstairs. I'm glad we'll be on holidays for a couple of months, lol.
