Is it possible that Sterling is graduating from 8th grade in just a few short weeks? I can't believe it. He is going to be in high school in just a few months and I think I will sit down and bawl my eyes out. He already calls me short stuff. Craig and I are thrilled for him and how well he has done. We know he will do well in high school. N's sister A recently said to me "he's big, good looking and nice, he'll be fine in high school". I'm holding her to that - ha!

grade 8 graduate
Is it possible that Sterling is graduating from 8th grade in just a few short weeks? I can't believe it. He is going to be in high school in just a few months and I think I will sit down and bawl my eyes out. He already calls me short stuff. Craig and I are thrilled for him and how well he has done. What a gorgeous picture of our oldest grandson - WOW - like N's sister says - big, good looking and nice - what a nice compliment! Sterling looks so grown up - gown and everything. Our grade 8 graduation wasn't quite so formal but it meant alot to us because we were going into High School. Does Sterling finish his education to grade 12 at the school he's heading to? Grampa & I wish you all the best Sterling - we love you so much.
Dreary, rainy, windy and +9 this morning - don't feel like doing too much at all. The morning we can sleep in, we were both awake around 7:30 a.m. We made a big breakfast so won't need anything till supper other than a coffee break. Not too much planned at all for today and tomorrow is to be our Sunday School picnic but the weather doesn't sound too promising for it.

You are so good looking and nice, tall and nicely built. The only problem you'll have in high school is keeping all those women away. It could be worse, right?
Miserable here in Red Deer also. Everyone is in the pool enjoying the last few hours of our visit. So glad they have wifi here as my Inbox was overflowing. I only have internet if I sit at the picnic table at home and piggyback on the hotel behind us. It's slow at best and intermittent most of the time so this has been great.
Another week of painting and putting down new flooring. Hope to be finished this week, at least within the next seven to eight days. It's wonderful and satisfying to see one's progress no matter how tired you feel at the end of the day.
