Tried last week to post both pictures with no luck but this week I had no problem. If you scroll back you will see last weeks picture with the typo on the picture. By the time it would actually post and we saw the error we didn't want to take the chance of it not posting again. I don't see much difference in Kaedo but a lot in Sterling. He is now officially taller than me. Yikes!

Growing by the minute, you two. I know kids hate to hear that but...oh well!

Another gorgeous day 30C with a slight breeze or zephyr as Denis calls it.

Had lots of fun with Beryl and Lorne yesterday. Took the ferry to the Havasu Casino for lunch and played slots for about 20 minutes. Came out with lunch paid for so that was a bonus. I've done really well this week. I've written down all my wins and losses and now I'm up a touch for the season. Now, that's cheap entertainment. Dan and Laura are coming for Happy Hour and supper tonight as they head to Needles tomorrow. We'll be in withdrawal around this time next week. What we buy here for $9.47 is $30.00+ at home so it will be dry out time. Our livers will thank us, at least that's what we're all telling each other.

Spoke with our cousins in Spain this morning. Everyone is doing well there and they said that their winter was unusually cool and wet. Guess it's a world wide phenomena. Cheryl and Gerald are leaving for Maui next week so they're looking forward to that, it's their first time there. We had the books out planning for next year already and we haven't finished this year. That's part of the fun, whether what you plan happens is always a mystery until the day of departure.

Love to all

Great photos and glad to hear you didn't have too much trouble getting them on for this week.

We just arrived home safe and sound from a fun day together with friends. We left S.C. this morning around 8:00 a.m. in Ed & Marion's new car and drove to Regina on clear roads with blue sky and sun shining and NO WIND!!! We stopped in Moose Jaw at Tim Horton's for coffee and got to Regina around 11:00 a.m. Marion had taken along a bottle of homemade wine and mixings for a salad and I took along fresh buns from Monday and a new dessert to try on friends. Margaret had cooked a ham, scalloped potatoes and corn - everything was yummy and the company was great. Men visited while we cleaned up and then we sat in the living room and visited until around 5:30 p.m. and decided to finish off the buns and have some of the birthday cake left over from Bill's 70th b'day on Friday. It was a wonderful day and weather totally cooperated for us.

Hope your day went well - BIG HUGS TO ALL!!

Denis & Irene - I know you're looking forward to coming home to some of that white stuff you missed and I'm sure it won't all be gone by the time you come back - it's piled too high to melt in a couple of weeks. Take care and safe travels back to Canada.
