Kaedo has been sick on and off for the last couple of weeks and has spent a couple of days at home this week due to some congestion, bad cough and fever. Wednesday night we decided to pull out the Vick Vapo-Rub in the hopes it would sooth his chest a little. As he was lying on our bed he says to me,
"mom, rub it on counter clockwise so my chest hairs will knot!"
I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much. He's hilarious.

Another beautiful day here in Parker. The river is aqua and so clean and pristine. They must have let some water out of the dam as it's running pretty fast. Supposed to have water ski competitions here next week, someone said. They'll be performing right past the motorhome. Couldn't stand to be here in the summer though as the boat noise would drive us crazy. Only the northerners boat at this time of year so there aren't a whole lot. The snow birds kayak, the natives use speed boats.
Glad we won't be home until April but I think it will be really cold then Shirley. Doesn't sound too good for the spring. Staying in the fall allows you to acclimatize but coming home to a cold spring after the heat here really hits you like a ton of bricks. Don't do cold very well any more.

Too funny Kaeden! If you take after your Grampa, uncle and dad - you will NEVER have to worry about such a thing. So sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well - BIG HUGS FROM GRAMPA & I. For the coughing, an old wives tale is to rub the Vicks on your feet and put socks on for night and it's supposed to quit the coughing. I've done it lots and I believe it works! Hope you're feeling better Kaeden.
