For Christmas Craig and I bought the boys these two card games. Up until this week I hadn't played them. Kaedo and I sat down this weekend and played them for a couple of hours. So much fun. They are quick paced, fun and short. If you are looking for a good game whether you are a child or adult I would really recommend these. Crazy Old Fish War is a combination of Crazy 8s, Old Maid, War and Fish. It really keeps you on your toes. Sorry Revenge is a streamlined way to play Sorry without having to pull out a game board.
Enjoy!

We had so much fun playing those card games with the boys as well at Christmas time - it's a fun family get-together.

Hope you didn't find it too hard getting back into the swing of things this morning after having a week off.

We woke up to SNOW again this morning. We were planning on heading to Regina with Ed & Marion to visit with Bill & Margaret for the day. Bill's 70th b'day is on Friday and we were going to celebrate with him abit early BUT now we will be celebrating probably quite abit later. Stan's getting quite upset with all this snow but what can one do other than be thankful we're not living in Japan.

Betty Anne & Gerry's son Dylan is getting married on June 11th of this year and they were asking for addresses so you will probably be receiving an invitation from them - thought I'd better pre-warn you. They know you won't be able to make it but I guess they want to invite everyone in the family. We have 3 weddings in 3 months this year - Amanda and Chris on May 7th, Dylan's on June 11th and Kristen & Scott's on July 2nd. Some years we go with no weddings and then the next 3-5 in one year!

Hope you had a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!!

We haven't played these games but love Mexican train, Lost Cities and Connectx. Even beat Craig at that one, needless to say, he didn't accept a re-match, lol. Enjoyable games sure make a winter day go by quickly.

The weather is so beautiful although it was cooler yesterday. I wore a light jacket as we sat around the pool. The sun is hot but the breeze was cool. People are getting prepared to leave for home in the next two weeks. Jack and Joan live in Fort Lauderdale but rent out their place there and spend their winters in California and Arizona. It seems so weird to live in a hot climate and yet travel across the country to spend the winter in a different one. Dan and Laura are heading back to Yuma today for a couple of days. They wanted us to go with them but we're not interested in heading south when we have to head north in less than two weeks. Lorne and Beryl had show tickets in Vegas for yesterday so they should be here today or tomorrow.

Lots still going on and the kids are still on spring break so it's busy with all ages. Way more fun than just a bunch of seniors doing their thing.

We couldn't open Sterling's video and we couldn't send the boat race ones as they're too big. Maybe you and Craig will give us a lesson when we next see you.

We had the maps out yesterday planning our next adventure but still waiting to hear from the Dr. regarding Dad's surgery.

Love to all

Finally got the movie clips open and loved the "action". It's great to see you having so much fun and obviously enjoying some good weather.

Another beautiful day here. Our neighbor was fishing for his breakfast when we got up. Bass and catfish are the catches here. The water here on the Colorado is so pristine and green, you can see the bottom all the time. Emerald Cove is such a perfect name for the park next door.

Senior's day at the Casino so we'll go for lunch and play the slots with the free play money. We each get $10.00 but Denis doesn't play so I get $20.00. Once the free play $ is spent, that's it. We don't put our own money in. Have to save up for fuel to get home, lol. That's all anyone talk about here as everyone gets ready to head north. Fuel isn't nearly as expensive as at home but it is pricey for down here. Hate seeing seniors standing on the corner with a gas can asking for donations. $3.47 for gas, $3.89 for diesel. Some people get down here as they can live "rent" free and can get out of the cold but then don't have the money to get home. It's not just those of us that choose to be here but lots of people who have no where to live and need to get out of their cold climate. People really envy our social programs and do want health care and all the other things our country has to offer. We are very lucky to be Canadian..now if only we could have warmth in winter.

Hope your weather is improving.
