iPad Frenzy

Yesterday Craig's boss mentioned to him that he should bring a couple of iPads home for the boys to try out. Since they have both drank the 'Apple Koolaid' and think there is nothing better, they were both thrilled at the idea of playing with these cool gadgets. They spent the evening playing and were back at it this morning. I think we will have to surgically remove them from their hands come Sunday night. They have both said they want one now but for $600 ea they will have to start investing in some winning lottery tickets!

We're in the market for a new something, but not sure what. One of our laptops is about to go and the other is so old that I can't scan to it. We'll wait until we get home though as electronics are way more expensive down here.

Sad day leaving Jessica and the girls at the airport today. We've all had a wonderful holiday, doing something different every day. Our three days at Disney really capped off a wonderful time although we are all exhausted. We left San Diego on Thursday at 10, stopped for a couple of groceries then checked into our hotel. Went for dinner at Ariel's Grotto so that we could get preferred seating for The World of Color. Fabulous show. Got home around 10.30. Got to Disney on Friday by 10.30, stayed for the fireworks and Fantasmic, getting home around midnight. Saturday we arrived there by 11.30 and got home by 9, quite tired and we wanted to visit a little before Jessica and the girls left for cold Alberta. Sunday, dad got up and did his daily Starbucks run while we got organized, went for breakfast and left the hotel around 11. Got to LAX around 12.15 which left no time for dawdling as the plane left at 1.45. Don't know how anyone makes their plane on time in that chaotic mess they call security. That has got to be the most disorganized place on earth. Anyway, they made it safe and sound back to cold Alberta. Susan and Georges helped with the luggage and the van was warm, so as I'm writing poor Jessica is driving back to Medicine Hat. She left Calgary at 7 so should be home by 10.

It's very quiet and lonely here right now especially with the high chair, Avery's bed and the toys that couldn't be packed still staring at us. Tomorrow we'll get everything put away and organized but it is way too quiet.

Our month here ends on Friday and we don't know yet what we want to do. Have to reply to some e-mails to see where everyone is and maybe that will help us with our decision.

Love to all
