let's go, jersey, let's go!

Last night was JERSEY night. Finally, they got their personalized jerseys. Sterling was stoked. They had to wait until the end of practice and then the coach handed them out. He looks so great. Much better than the rest of the kids. Not biased at all. The boy in the first picture is 7. He is about 1.5 heads shorter that Sterling. He really seems to like Sterling as I always seem to see him trailing around after him. He's cute but very small. I'm thankful Sterling doesn't have to tackle him, or if he does in practice he doesn't crush him. Craig was the only one with the camera and he got some awesome shots. Is he not gorgeous???? Man, oh, man...I am in so much trouble. He is doing so well. He is running the ball, protecting the QB and all that other cool stuff he is supposed to do. The best part? HE LOVES IT!

Oh my gosh - Sterling you look GREAT!!! and sooooo handsome in your football gear. Sounds like you're having a blast. Dad & son look so good together. Yes, Shannon - you two better have a bat ready to boot all the girls away!

We had a great time together with Larry & Faye and Joe & Lynne last night. We picked up KFC and went down to the park for supper and then out to Joe & Lynne's for a bonfire. We got out there around 7:15 and sat around the bonfire until almost 11:15 - it was a gorgeous evening - full moon and hardly any wind to speak of. We got to watch a sunset from their place as well and they are up on a hill - it was absolutely beautiful.

Tonight we are getting Stan's uncle Ike down - we told him to come at 7:00 p.m. - it is now 6:25 and Stan called me to say he's here!!! I haven't even got my supper dishes cleared away yet. Oh well - guess he's lonely and doesn't have anything better to do.

Take care!

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
