What can I say?

This is my son, fishing. He got up before almost anyone else and was out there with his rod and reel. Kaedo has told me that he loved fishing so much he would do it every day if he could. He liked the peace and quiet and calm of the lake like this.

When you think of Kaedo you never think of someone who may need some 'calm' in his life. He always seems so chill.

Yesterday and today we have had friends over all day and for supper. Kaedo's friend is coming back for teen night on Friday and a sleepover. Sterling's friend is going to teen night but no sleepover as he is leaving for the Dominican at 3am on Saturday.

Tomorrow I get my beauties to myself so we are going to catch at 10:35am movie and spend the rest of the afternoon hanging out.

Love it!

That is an absolutely gorgeous photo Kelly took. Kaeden even caught a fish that morning as well so it was a perfect morning.

Sounds like the boys are getting caught up with time with their friends (and family) before heading back into a routine of school (oh, I'm not supposed to mention the "S" word yet!) Have a fun day with them tomorrow.

My sister Joyce came back with Sam & Linda from Calgary on Sunday so we've been having some "5" sister time together. Jean invited us over for lunch to her place yesterday and Linda and I picked mom up. Mom was not in a very good mood and very, very quiet the whole time we were all together. We took her back around 2:00 and there was a band playing old time music and Linda hardly got her into the room and said good-bye and mom was dancing around and saying good-by, that was nice - so Linda was out of there:D Guess we should have music playing while we're visiting - it would put her in a better mood. As sad as it is, we just know she's being looked after by some wonderful people and she's in Swift Current!!

Hope everyone is having a great day so far - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Yup. I think Kaedo would be a good fisherman. He was not even tentative about trying to grab the fish. Even though he said he does not like to eat fish it is still fun to catch. I would take him fishing anytime. I agree te peace and quiet in the mornings at Fishing Lake are awesome. Sterling even got the opportunity to see the Northern Lights before he went to bed one night.

What a great photo, Kelly. It looks really peaceful Kaedo and all fisher people say there is nothing like it. So glad you enjoy this peaceful pastime.

Love to all
