Ta Da!

Ta Da!!!!! Kaedo has spent almost a year growing out his hair. Today is the day he chose to donate it for Locks of Love. I took him to the salon and the stylist was fantastic. She did a great job and Kaedo thought she was terrific. She gave him a wonderful haircut afterwards and he is just thrilled with the results and proud of himself. Craig and I are very proud of him and his tenacity to stick it out when people were telling him to cut it, or mistaking him for a girl. He ROCKS! Now I need to get a big stick to keep the girls away.

Oh Kaeden! you are more handsome than can be possible. You look fantastic with your short hair. We hope you like it as much as we do. Congratulations for sticking with it and making another person so happy with the gift of your hair. Your generosity will go a long way to making another person feel less self-conscious about their appearance. When your mom was in school, there was a young girl that had no hair due to a genetic problem. I know how to say the word but won't attempt to spell it, but I know that she had a hard time until she got a "real hair" wig.

I bet you are all sad today saying goodbye to your parents and grandparents. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with you in a wonderfully carefree environment. We have met a lot of grandparents/parents that never get the opportunity to spend time with their grandchildren/children that we do. Thank you all for making our visits so casual and fun.

So glad you played such a good game Kaedo. You've really come a long way. It's too bad organized sports have to be so political. Young people should just be able to go out there and play.

Hey Sterling, good luck with school on Tuesday. You will do awesome, my man! The school is lucky to have such a kind and caring student on their campus. Didn't see a photo of your new haircut??????

Have a great weekend everyone. Happy Anniversary to you both, wow, we can't believe all the years, you're really stacking them up.

We had a great trip home, took us 9 days which was shorter than it should have been but having no car makes a huge difference in your desire to go sightseeing once you're parked for the night. We've had the most wonderful summer and hope to repeat again next year.

Have a great long weekend everyone

Love to all
