Week 47. Boy have they grown through the summer, and I don't just mean their hair! We have had a great week with Amma and Baba. I have been so happy they have been here while Craig and I have been working. They have golfed, been to the movies, been to Costco, hung out with their friends, slept in and watched episode upon episode of Big Bang Theory with Baba. I can't believe mom and dad are leaving next week and we have no plans to see each other again. That is the first time in about 10 months that we haven't had a visit to look forward to. Hopefully we will see each other soon.
Stan and Shirley come next week and we are so excited to see them. The boys will have the opportunity to spend their last 10 days of holidays with them and I think this is the longest visit they have ever had here, so we are looking forward to it.
This weekend plans to be awesome with the opportunity to head out to see some stock car racing as well as an afternoon at the horse races. The boys can't wait to go to the horse races. I think it is their favorite outing and aside from Kaedo's 12th birthday we have always gone with mom and dad - it seems to be a tradition. So much fun!

Hopefully we'll get another round of golf in before we leave. That is a fun course for the boys and they play so much better than last year.
We're hoping that the slide will be fixed on Tuesday so that we can park in comfort. A trip around Lake Erie is in our plans as the road is along the lakeshore for lots of miles.
We know you'll have lots of fun doing things with the boys Stan and Shirley. Hope your weather is awesome also.

The weeks go by way to fast and I'm sure you feel the same way Denis & Irene. Sounds like you had a wonderful time with Sterling & Kaeden on their trip with you as well as time together with all the family.
Only 4 more sleeps till we get to see everyone - we can hardly wait. Shannon, you mentioned that you thought this will be our longest visit but the year we drove to visit you, we were there for 16 days! We arrived on the 18th of August with Jim & Roberta and celebrated her birthday together having supper with them. We were still there to help celebrate your anniversary. You two went out for the evening and when you got home, we helped set up your anniversary gift from Ikea. On the 3rd, we had breakfast at Denny's in Whitby and headed out from there.
I'm sure the boys have improved in their golf game - they'll be teaching grampa & gramma a few tricks. We do hope the weather cooperates so we can take in a few games as well - that course is just the right size for me!
