back to life

...our new life, that is. The one where mom leaves home for work everyday. Back to work this afternoon. Looking forward to it. Love to learn.
Craig is at work and the boys are out swimming with friends. A good day being had by all. Craig is the only Sr. Mgr on his floor(?) this week so he has it pretty casual. I think he was happy to be getting back into the routine today. Although, if the routine started at9am instead of 5:40am, I think he would be even happier.
The weather is great, although a little windy.
Sent an email to my mom this morning - here is an excerpt. Had to pass along the webkinz story but didn't want to re-write it. Enjoy. Out of the mouths of babes:

We had a great weekend. Jessica and Ken gave us a GC to the movies and we had some free passes so we headed there yesterday, then ran some errands and took the boys to the flea market. They were thrilled when they were able to purchase webkinz for $5 less than in the stores. They pooled their money and bought 2 for $20 and spent most of the afternoon and evening playing on the computers doing all the fun stuff the webkinz program allows you to do. Kaedo is very proficient with Webkinz (he has 30 of them, after all) so he spent quite a while helping Sterling get his "room" set up and they sent lots of gifts to each other, etc.
Emilee and Lucas came to play. Their mom told them they could stay for 30 minutes (I didn't know that) and two hours later their dad rang the bell for them to come home.
I was on the main floor reading a book and listening to them play. They had brought a bunch of webkinz with them. They were putting on a dance with Sterling's iPod being the dj. I heard Emilee say "there will be lots of kissing" and Kaedo replied, "ya, tons of lip action". I almost peed my pants. I had to interrupt Craig's football game (Go Miami) to tell him. It was hilarious.

Happy Monday, everyone!

It's good to get back into routine isn't it. This morning I got up at 7:00 a.m. and went to Curves. I haven't been for such a long time - didn't want to go when my ribs were out of place and then we were away for awhile. It did feel good and my plan is to stick with it this week. Line dancing tomorrow but not on the 1st. After all the Christmas goodies - I need to get back to routine!!

Great blog - thanks for sharing the Webkinz story - tooo cute - hope it's only the Webkinz and not live action!

Have a great day - love you lots - BIG HUGS TO ALL!!

How quickly they age! You will have teens before you know it and won't that be fun.

Can't believe tomorrow is the last day of Jessica and Ken's visit. It has gone so fast and it has been a great time. They are doing their air boat tour and Shark Slough tram tomorrow. We are doing Shark Slough on the 2nd. We're going to bike the 15 miles and then tram it so that we can get the narrative. Biking allows us to get the photos we want. This is a truly great part of the world.

Love to all
