Our House

We had a pretty shitty May around here, but June is bound to be better. With warm weather, sunshine, flowers and cook-outs, not to mention the end of the school year, the countdown to some much needed holidays for Craig and a very adorable dog who is a joy to have.

This year we decided to do some much needed vamping on the exterior of our house. The deck needed painting, the crumbling brick needed to be repaired and things just needed to be spruced up. We have spent the last few weeks doing this, and while not quite complete, we are very happy with the results so far:

The back deck and our new firepit

Closeup of firepit and base that Craig made - our awful lack of grass due to years of trampolines and swimming pools

Kaedo's garden - peppers, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, watermelon and peas

Front deck

Front flowerbed

Strawberry plant

We are very lucky I think that we live in a climate that has humidity, rain, bright sunshine and a great growing season. So there you have it. We are looking forward to some hotdog roasts, smores and family time.

It's good to be back.

It is also VERY GOOD to have you back:)

Your yard looks GREAT. Wow, you've been working very hard around your place. Looking forward to enjoying a hotdog roast, s'mores and relaxing time with you when we come this summer.

Our weather is back to being windy and cool. Flowers are starting to look like they are taking hold and getting some new buds as well. Hope we get some HOT weather pretty soon.

Just watching the news and they caught the fellow who killed the 3 RCMP in Moncton - THANK GOODNESS!. Our thoughts and prayers are with all families involved. Having RCMP's in our family, it makes one realize the danger their lives are in at all times.

Have a great weekend - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Awesome looking abode! It looks wonderful. I know you'll enjoy every moment spent outside surrounded by your flowers. We have 4 hanging baskets all donated by Rona as they hadn't been looked after and they were going to throw them out. I've watered and fertilized them and they look terrific. Love flowers.

The fire pit looks great, Craig. We're sure you'll enjoy endless hours around it. We had ours on last night as Denis had some of his cronies over. They sat out around the fire until 10.

Glad you're back.

Love to all
