Week 42 and the sun is shining. Craig was right on top of getting the picture done while I was away and now that it has reverted to my responsibility I am back to posting it super late in the week. The kids have had a good week, hanging out, scootering, biking, soccer, new shoes (much needed) and football. Tomorrow we have a tee time for 9:10am to use one of our Christmas gift certificates for a round of golf (thanks mom and dad). We are all looking forward to that. I'm going to charge my camera battery tonight so I can get some good shots.

We arrived at Rock Springs, Wyoming. We're about three hours short of our destination of Jackson and about six hours short of Yellowstone. In Wyoming, the road is on top of the mountains so they are easier grades and you're always looking down on the scenery. Very beautiful, very western movie type scenery. Love it! Everyone has had a swim and we're all glad we stopped early rather than going for today's goal. We're averaging around 60 kph through the mountains so 400 kms. is a long day. The weather is cloudy but 32C.

Hope you all had a fun time golfing today and there was no rain. We've had company since yesterday at noon and they are heading out tomorrow morning around 10:00 a.m. We just came in about 1/2 hour ago from sitting outside enjoying the beautiful evening. We had a "hot dog" roast for our supper and then Sam & Linda, Jean, Jim & Roberta came over for a visit. Nice evening but we all smell like smoke.
