The Bellagio

One afternoon we headed to the Bellagio, which is in my opinion the most beautiful hotel on the Strip. These pictures (except the last one) are all from the garden in the middle of the hotel. It is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. Even the animals - the bees, frogs - are done with dried flowers. I can't imagine how long it takes to makes this beautiful site come alive - magical. The last photo is hundreds of glass flowers that hang from the ceiling over the lobby. LOVE THEM.
I would love to stay at that hotel, but first I need to win the lottery - ha!

WOW! Great photos of a beautiful place.

Nice and hot here again today +26 and a beautiful breeze. We are getting things straightened around for company arriving tomorrow. Gail and her sister Janice and her husband Luke from Lilloette are arriving tomorrow morning sometime. They plan on leaving on Monday morning and visiting cousins in Rosetown. It's supposed to be +34 on Sunday so we'll be trying to stay somewhere cool. I've invited my family over for coffee (or something cooler) and dessert Sunday around 7:00 p.m. to have a visit with our cousins. Should be a fun time together.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Focus. Hope you find the problem - such a nuisance when vehicles don't work properly.

Have a great weekend and BIG HUGS TO ALL!

I am looking forward to receiving my copy of the pics you took on your holiday. Ha Ha....but totally not kidding. I have really realized what a crappy photographer I am and am counting on you for my memories. Bellagio is my favorite as well and is where I am going to take you when I win the lotto. We'll play roulette and craps and maybe even learn how some of those machines work. Love you love you love you.

You have captured the Bellagio decor. It really is a stunning hotel. I'd like to stay there also but one of the dance kids who did, said that the damn fountains kept waking her up. That was a great chuckle, out of the mouth of babes.

We are in Grand Junction Colorado after an exciting drive over the Million Dollar Highway. Like the card I sent says, I wouldn't go over it again for a million dollars. We ended up in Ouray, with fire/sparks in the back wheels. The police came to check it out as there is an extensive fire ban here. We stopped for a couple of hours and then continued on. Fabulous drive with about 10 - six hairpin connected curves and a 8+% grade. Hardest drive Denis has ever done, he says. The scenery was breathtaking but it was more breathtaking watching the light show from behind the motor home. Really had us scared for a bit but very happy we got to see this beautiful town of Ouray, which considers itself the Switzerland of the USA.

On to somewhere for tomorrow night and hopefully into Jackson Hole on Sunday and Yellowstone on Monday. Our highway for tomorrow is narrow with only one pass so we should be able to enjoy it thoroughly. Having such a great time, wish you were here.

Love to all
