Finally Sterling landed on the loose money square. He was down to his last $4. Unfortunately we had to keep playing!
Kaedo showing off his wad 'o cashGot up this morning and did yoga (with the boys - a totally different experience!), talked to my dad and kicked their asses in Shrek Monopoly. Sterling and I are going for a swim (71 degrees - ACK) then I have to head out to work. The weekend is almost here and the weather is great. Hopefully it holds up for the weekend.
Thinking of Emma today and hoping she is feeling better. Brave girl - tonsils out, adenoid out, tubes in. So brave. Hats off to Jessica for spending the night in a hospital bed with her while 38 weeks pregnant. Thinking of you guys. Now bring on that BABY!!!!!

Looks like Sterling & Kaeden will have to teach grampa & gramma how to play Shrek Monopoly. We don't even have a Monopoly game at home to practice with before coming to see you. We have probably 20 other games but not Monopoly. Hope the weather stayed nice for you to enjoy your swim. It was +9 here this morning!!! Stan turned the furnace on. Tomorrow it's supposed to go to +27!! Only in Saskatchewan. Oh well, when it's nice we'll get outside and enjoy it.
Hope Emma is feeling better and stronger each day! What a tough little girl to go through all that. Take care.
We don't have too much planned for the weekend and if it's as nice as they say it's going to be, we'll just plain old hang out outside as much as possible. We have a Come & Go "thing" at the Wien's house from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. tomorrow to meet little Kensie (Rhonda & Derek's little girl) and it is the only day that all of Pete & Esther's kids are together at one time - Raymond, Joan, Zac & Madison, Roberta & Paul, Derek, Rhonda, Jackson & Kensie.
I got a really nice frame to put my "family" photo in. Thanks again!

We love monopoly also. Played it all the time as a kid...boy, that's an old game. How is Shrek different from plain old??? Love your Lego game piece. Kaeden, you always win the money.
Nice here today also Shirley. It must be a Prairies thing.
Not much planned here either for the weekend. Ken and dad are going for a bike ride. Dad needs some city lessons before he goes for his license. Ken was rolling his eyes at the thought, not what he considers a ride, but dad is insistent, so poor Ken won't get the ride he wants. Having Jessica, Ken and Em for supper tonight so I'll spend some time cooking and shopping.
Visited with Emma for a bit after work yesterday and she's doing great. She was almost normal which is amazing after only a day. It will be interesting to see how she is today. She can't eat any of her favorite foods for about 10 days so she's a little bummed out about that.
