We spent two days at the Animal Kingdom and had a lot of fun. It kind of reminded us of a big zoo, but it was very nice. We really loved the safari and many of these pictures are from that. I was amazed at how many different animals they had. It was really quite something.

I can't remember what these are called but we were told that their horns will grow to 6 feet in length. Oh My!

This woman was all walking through the park. The first time I saw her I thought it was a tree. Creeped me out. She looked really cool on my second glance. She was on these tall stilts and was probably 10 feet high.

Saw a great bird show - twice! It was funny and amazing

Inside the Tree of Life - the centerpiece of the park. The "woodwork" is amazing

More great photos. We didn't mean to leave two posts last time but the first one said it didn't go through. WRONG!!

Aren't the animals so well kept? I know it's not the optimum but at least they are looked after in a very caring way.

What a wonderful experience!

Love to all

You've got some wonderful photos of your trip Shannon. Great memories to look back on. The one photo of the "leafy" lady reminded me of when we were on our trip to Branson. We stopped that the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville and there were a couple of ladies like that and yes it kind of startled us at first as well.

Once again it's snowing here today - between fog and snow we know winter isn't over yet for quite awhile. The frost on fences, trees and bushes is so beautiful. The fence by Central School has so much frost on it and someone has written "GO CANADA" and drawn the Maple Leaf as well. It looks so neat.

Bronco game on tonight for Stan and I'll probably be sitting in front of the t.v. watching the Olympics. Great entertainment!

Hope you all had a great day - nice talking to you Sterling & Kaeden - have a fun time at bowling tomorrow.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
