In our main floor bathroom we have an old Coke chalkboard (which I'm sure I've mentioned before) that is used for jokes of the bathroom variety. While many may be offended, it makes me laugh every time I go in there, even if I'm the one who has written the joke.
As of right now we have a surgery countdown, which is not bathroom-like or very funny but we are pretty focused on next Wednesday so it is a good reminder that time is going quickly. Kaedo is excited and nervous but mostly excited. I think the only thing he's dreading is the IV. Little does he know how supremely shitty he is probably going to feel afterward.

We've had a good laugh at some of those sayings on the board. Quite original, some of them.
We're thinking of you Kaedo, nervous is ok when you are going to have surgery. We know it will work out great and that you'll be back to the activities you've been missing in no time.

We made it to PA safe and sound - beautiful weather - YAHOO!! Jacob, Kelly and Petrica are off to the bowling lanes for the party with Jacobs friends. We are waiting for Carma and Hunter to arrive and then Caleb picked his favorite spot for supper - bet you can't guess where! We will be giving Jacob his gift from you guys tomorrow. He will be opening quite a few today so thought we'd save some for tomorrow. We will be heading home earlier than we first thought - Esther called yesterday and wants us to go to Care Centre for cake and coffee at 3:00. Will talk to tomorrow.
