Photobomb

There have been some questions as to what kind of back splash we were going to use on 'the wing', and to be honest - we couldn't decide. There are tons of options, but we're still talking about paint, and redoing the rest of the kitchen, so for now we decided to do what I like best. A photobomb of my best guys. These are some of my favorite pictures throughout the years and I love each one. They are each 8x8 with a white border, and I had them printed at Cost.co. I've only put them up with a little photo tape to decide if I like the placement (which I do), and will add a new adhesive to them to guarantee they stay up for as long as we want them there. There is still room to add smaller ones as they come about . I have to say I'm loving it, and it truly is 'me'. So glad to have a husband who just smiles and nods. lol. As to the questions about damage - we con't cook on this space, or do any prep work, so this is just a bonus wall that gets some pretty cute decoration. Like the doorknobs? Fun and functional - also, truly me. Yes, that is a milkshake machine next to my bread maker - fun and functional and $5. The kids love it. French Vanilla milkshakes seem to be the fave.

Have a great day!

LOVE THE BACK SPLASH! What a beautiful way to brighten up your kitchen with all your loved ones looking at you every morning! Thanks for pointing out the door knobs - very interesting - fun and functional and also truly you Shannon - way to go!! Noticed the color matching gadget on the counter but didn't know what it was - too cool for sure.

Hope your weekend is going well. We have +4 outside, blue sky, sun shining BUT quite a wind which makes it feel cooler.

BIG HUGS TO EVERYONE!

Oh my giddy aunt! When we thought nothing else could be purchased for $5, you proved us wrong...again and again and again... Nice backsplash. Have you thought about having the photos put on ceramic tile??? Sorry Craig!

Went to Mexico yesterday for a few hours. Denis got some dental repair and I drank some margaritas. The friends that we went with don't like to eat where we do so we went for margaritas and beer at our fave place and food at their fave place. It's always a fun experience and the Mexican people are tooooo funny. I asked if their humor was cultural or genetic. I love their term "almost free". We want to buy a new window for our door but there is so much variety that it will take the next couple of weeks to decide.

No lunches or dinners today, thank goodness. Happy hour with friends from Lethbridge who found other Lethbridge neighbors in this park. It's been a wonderfully quiet day so far, first one since October. We are getting old when doing almost nothing is a pleasant experience. A little warm today, about 28C, but our picnic table was in the shade when we had supper for lunch. Love a bigger meal midday instead of evening. Denis is doing his 5km every day, can you say "SHOCK" with a big capital S. So happy he's enjoying as, although we don't walk together, he really feels the benefit. He's always been allergic to exercise of any kind except water volleyball. That's probably what he's trying to get in shape for as he'll start playing that on the 6th.

Hope everyone is having wonderful weather. I bet +4 feels wonderful, Shirley, after the terrible weather that's been happening up there. We hope it just keeps getting warmer and all the cold weather is over for the year.

Love to all
