Funny Face

Kaedo loves to pull funny faces so I just had to get these. He is so funny. Love the first picture!

Not too much going on this weekend. I will be working today and Craig has football this morning and the dentist this afternoon. The boys will probably spend some time with their friends at some point. Sunday I am looking forward to sleeping in, getting groceries and hanging out with the fam. Not too much more than that except for some calls to two very important women in my life and a visit to see GG.

Puddle Jumping???

On Wednesday night it was raining and the boys thought they should get out onto the trampoline for some water sports. The rain was pouring down so they put on their swim trunks and swim shirts and headed out for some jumping. I loved listening to them laughing and having fun and was able to get some great pictures of their tricks. They have spent tons of time on the trampoline this year already and I know there will be many more hours of fun as the weather continues to get nicer. Hope you like the pictures.

These pictures are from March 2004. Can you believe it? Dad brought all the pieces they needed to build these cars and the boys spent a whole morning working on them with him. They loved those cars. There were many smash-up derbys in our house in 2004.

Not too much else going on here. The weather is great and the boys are in shorts and loving being outside until dark. Craig is going to a fancy dinner tonight so it will just be me and the boys. Looking forward to being with them, as always.

Week 32

I know I say this every week but can you believe it is already week 32? I can't believe it. You can really see how tall Sterling is in this picture. Kaedo measured himself last night and was over an inch taller since Sterling's birthday. As you know we measure the boys twice a year. Once on Sterling's birthday and once on Kaedo's.

The boys are so good about the gnome picture. I know I say that every week too. They were out playing with their friends when I asked for this picture and they willingly dropped what they were doing and posed. Love that. Love them.

Home to Roost

Look who's visiting. Our spiral tree has visitors again and we are anxious to meet them. I don't know how long until the eggs hatch, but momma is very protective. She freaks you out when you walk by the tree.
Kaedo and his buddy have gone down to Bulk Barn for some candy and Sterling is outside playing basketball with the neighbor. Craig is doing laundry and is probably searching for a playoff game on TV. I have a couple of little projects I want to get done today and we'll maybe sit down and watch a movie later.

Saturday

How's the weather in your neck of the woods? It is great here. Ha. You poor Westerners. I sure don't miss that.
Saturday means lots of kids hanging out. After Kaedo's banquet I dropped Sterling off at a friend's house. His friend was so polite. He said to me,"thanks for letting Sterling come over". Nice manners. Kaedo phoned Josh when we got home and I took him over there to play street hockey. I talked to Craig at 3:30pm and he told me that Kaedo and Josh were at our place and we will have an extra medium boy sleeping over tonight. Don't love having kids sleep over as I only have Sundays off on the weekend, but at this age they want their friends over so you just do it, right?

Nerdy McNerdy Pants

Kaedo found these 3D glasses and decided he wanted the lenses popped out and wanted to add some tape to the bridge. This was the final product. He loves them and wore them all night and to school yesterday. His friends thought they were cool and really, that's what matters. Kids are thrilled today is Friday and they will soon have the weekend to hang out with their buddies.

Sterling has his bowling banquet tonight and Kaedo has his in the morning. Craig has football tomorrow and I work tomorrow afternoon. Nothing too thrilling. Hope every one's weather gets better and you all have a great weekend.
