While Jessica, Ken and Emma are anxiously awaiting the arrival our their baby girl, I thought I would post this picture of Jessica and Emma from their visit here in April. While the picture isn't great quality, they both look beautiful and happy. You can tell just by glancing at this picture the type of relationship they have.
Jessica, Ken and Emma - the phone in our room is plugged in and we are anxious to get our 4am call that our new niece has entered this world. We love you and are so excited for you.

Just some of the great shots Craig and I got today at the zoo. We had such a great time. We got to the zoo at 9:15am and left at 4:30pm. We didn't see everything but made a big dent. We broke down and bought an annual pass and have lots of plans for future trips. The boys had a great time and it was so much fun. The weather was fantastic, the sun shining and bright and we had a lot of laughs, and just enjoyed our last day together.
We came home and had a good supper and then showers/baths for everyone and some last minute packing. Petrica is looking through my scrapbooks and I must say I am a pretty good scrapbooker. The pages brought out lots of good memories. I should sit down and look at them again.
Kelly, Tica and family will be leaving EARLY tomorrow morning (5:30am) and it has just been great. We have had such a great time together and we got a chance to show off some of our neck of the woods. Meeting Caleb was just a thrill. He is a beautiful, sweet and loving baby. I never heard him cry until tonight. He loves being held and I got a bit of a baby fix. While I in no way have a biological ticking clock, it was really nice snuggling him. Jacob is three. What more can I say? He is gorgeous and funny and smart and darling and is giving his mom and dad a run for their money. We know what they are going through and feel for them. He is definitely Sterling's cousin.
It has been a wonderful six days and we have tons of pictures and lots of wonderful memories.

Another great day today. We had a huge breakfast then made our way to the Zoo. When we got into the area, we realized that the line that was moving at a snail's pace was in fact the line up to get into the parking lot of the zoo. We sat in line for about 10 minutes, moved about 20 feet and decided to turn around and head back into our neck of the woods. Petrica wanted to stop at Old Navy so we did that, went to Costco (picked up Kaedo's snowsuit - anyone who needs a kid's snowsuit - Costco has them in) and a few other things then headed over to the Ajax Cinema and saw "Ice Age - Dawn of the Dinosaurs". The kids and adults loved it. Jacob was hilarious, repeating all the funny lines and Caleb was a sweet bundle of deliciousness, sleeping through most of the movie and not making a peep while he was awake. We finished up our afternoon at Wal-Mart picking up a choochoo holder for Caleb, some goggles and the Michael Jackson Tribute issue of People Magazine.
Once we got home the boys decided to go for a jump. Jacob wasn't too happy with having three of them in there so he got out and the boys continued to jump and have fun. Not too much planned for tonight. Tomorrow is their last day here so we plan to be at the Zoo for 9:30am when it opens so we can spend the whole day.
The time has gone so fast. I can't believe they are leaving on Monday. It's been great.

Friday Fun!

A great day today. Petrica and I went and took part in her birthday present from us - PEDICURES! We finished that up with lunch at Jack Astors while the boys took off for Lakeview Park. Craig called us about 2pm and I took Petrica down to the park on my way to work. They said they had a good time aside from the flock of psychotic seagulls that stalked them. Craig the master chef made hamburgers for supper and now Craig and Kelly are watching the football game, drinking beer. I am doing this as I am sure Shirley is checking the blog for any and all updates on our visit.
Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad. Don't know how you've done it for 44 years, but good on ya! Happy belated Anniversary to Stan and Shirley - 41 years - ditto to you two!
Tomorrow we have plans for a big breakfast and a trip to the Toronto Zoo. Very excited for that.
I can't believe we only have two more days together. Time sure has flown. We have had a lot of fun and I have the pictures to prove it.

Canada Day Celebrations

We went to Rickards for a Canada Day celebration on the first and had a good time. There wasn't much to do before the fireworks but we had fun.
Hey Cutie!
Craig taught Jacob how to play Frisbee

Hey Handsome!

Sleeping Beauty!

Sign we saw posted at the skatepark. The writer of this sign was definitely an A student.

Watching the fireworks

Hope you had a good Canada Day, whatever you were doing. Petrica and I are going for pedicures this morning. It was her birthday present and I am lucky enough to benefit from the gift as well. The "boys" might go down to Lakeview Park for some sun and sand. I have to work tonight. This weekend we plan to spend the day at the Toronto Zoo and maybe see "Ice Age". I think it will be Caleb's first movie! Should be fun. Our time with them is going fast but we are trying to enjoy every moment. As awesome as the little guys are, I sure do appreciate my medium boys! What a lot of work for Kelly and Tica. They are great parents. I am so impressed.

Had to post some pictures of this afternoons fun. These are just some of my favorites.

The first ever picture of the beautiful Klassen boys! This one is for you, Shirley.
